I only find ebony mori to be too overpowered. It should be nerfed to two kills or removed.

It shouldn't be removed. But it should be nerved a little. Like only activate after everyone has been hooked once for example.

A good survivor team will still win against a good killer with a mori (Nurse & Spirit excluded).

Moris should be reworked so that they aren't authorized griefing tools designed to screw both sides (killers get no sacrifice emblems from using them, either).

Keys allow a survivor to escape earlier from a match.
Mory allows a killer to kill a survivor and remove them earlier from the match.
What’s the difference?
Also, keys can be found in chests relatively easy. If only a killer could find a mory during the game, right?

no its not that easy or common to get a key from a chest unless you equip and reserve perk slots for them.
2- hatch doesnt spawn so early as early as a kilelr can send you to a lobby.

You can barely tell if someone is holding a key in the lobby since it's so small and you can't tell if they have it in game not to mention you can find it in a chest
Franklin's ain't really a counter since you can pick they key back up now its even less so since plunderer can tell you where downed items are
I find keys op and frustrating since if there are 3 people and 1 dead with 1 gen left or 2 people left or 1 person with the hatch closed all of them can get a free escape and you can't prevent it at all since hatch grabs don't exist anymore
Also fun fact mori punishes the killer for less points because you elimating chases downs and hooks from the dead survivor unlike keys where you get more points when escaping through the hatch your more likely to derank if you bring a mori just saying

Both Keys and Moris should be reworked. But, there is a difference between Key and Moris:
Moris can be used at any time (when the Survivor was hooked before), Keys only after a certain amount of Generators. When no Gen is done, the Killer can mori one or more Survivors, but a Key cannot be used at all.
Furthermore, Keys are more rare than Moris, especially because some Killers do not have two Pink Add-Ons, which lead to every Pink Bloodweb Item being an Ebony for them, while the Keys share their spot with things like Syringes, BNPs, Odd Bulbs, etc.
This is also the reason why Ebonies are not as rare as Green Moris.

All the people here arguing probably run crutch/clutch perks like NOED and Ruin paired with an Ebony Mori.
And if you have to run either of the two perks listed above, then you're actually a garbage killer.

Imagine everyone here trying to compare an OFFERING - and item you can use regardless of your addons and what killer you play, to an actual ITEM+ addons. Imagine the survivors having an OFFERING that can block the basement for the entire match. Now that is comparable in my eyes. Offering for offering.
Hm let me think what other nonsense people said. So Mori kills someone earlier which is after the first hook which may happen a minute after the match start.The animation is not interuptable, no DS can help you, no pallet, no flashlight. Keys they say makes you escape earlier too ? Like can you do in the first minute ? No! In the second minute ? No ! You have to do gens!!! You have to do all of them ! If one person person dies you have to do one less. But the killer is already winning then - he already KILLED one person. He kills 2 and HE WINS. Just to remind everyone a win for the killer is considered to be 2 kills. Also you have to be literally a SFW to use it with all players as someone mentioned. I have never EVER used a key with my solo play with more then one person - and even that happens in very very rare cases. And the devs already confirmed the more than 50% of the base is SOLO. So please stop this exaggeration what can happen. I mean every killer CAN camp every game. Shall we make some ultimate anti camp rules like the hook timer never ends ? No, not really. You all sound like that one guy who met once 4 guys with Spine vs Myers and decided that Myers is doomed. Cause Spine is the most common perk and 4 players will always run it

My idea for the nerf - make all mories to be on a week cooldown per killer that resets with the weekly shrine reset. You can leave only the yellow ones the same. You can decide how many charges to give them - 1 or 2 for example

You clearly haven't played the game much. A good SWF team CAN beat a Killer with a Mori. That being said, the Ebony (Pink) Mori IS unbalanced. I would make it harder to use, but wouldn't change the overall affect. I also noticed you continue to think that the game is Killer sided, lemme correct that thinking.
Survivors, by default, are better than the Killer. Most Killers do not have as high a skill ceiling. There is only so much you can do with Wraith, or Legion. The higher skill Killers are all very good, Nurse, Spirit and Billy. However, most other Killers lack this skill ceiling. That isn't to say you cannot win with them, you can, but if a team of equal skill plays against you, YOU will lose.
Most Killers in this game suffer from one major problem, if the Killer plays perfectly and the Survivors play perfectly, those Killers will lose.

I’m not defending them, I’m simply saying keys are on the same level as mories.
Yeahyeah, we could be discussing all day every day which one is worse or better, or which is more balanced than the other.
My point is that they’re both not healthy for the balance of the game. Each has it’s drawbacks in the sense that you could argue that keys are rarer than mories in the bloodweb but in reality keys are used more often because you don’t get punished for using those pipping wise. In fact, you get rewarded for it. And yeah mories can be used relatively faster than keys, even though you can still use your key without a gen popping. I’m not denying any of that. I’m simply stating that they’re both extremely cheap ways of playing the game, their usage involve no skill and promote toxicity and cocky behaviour. In my eyes, they’re all the same and thus should both be reworked in some way.

I feel like the equivalent for insta-heals is exposure perks/powers. Just get rid of them. No insta-downs if no insta-ups.

The game is killer sided? Well, the last patch:
- Nerfed the "best" killer and reworked their add-ons.
- Gave a few killers undetectable, which only affects Alert, Dark Sense and Object of Obsession.
- Buffed two survivor perks (Plunderers and detectives hunch)
- Nerfed Insta Heals, yet buffed all medkits to heal others faster while reworking a few of their add-ons.
- Gave Survivors new score events (Wiggle from killer grasp, fast vault in chase, pallet drop in chase)
The patch before that (Stranger Things release):
- Buffed freddy w/ undetectable
- Buffed a Survivor perk (Dark Sense) and reworked a survivor perk (left behind).
- Reworked Dying Light (Since it promoted Tunneling)
- New obsession based point events (for survivor)
The last two patches have been quite survivor sided, buffing three of their bad perks and reworking their worst (left behind), buffing their medkits to be 10-25% faster, reworking medkit add-ons for balance and giving them more bloodpoints.
A few killers got a miniscule buff (myers t1, pig crouching, GF in power and freddy while in dream). This counters 4 perks, but only when a variable is present (Asleep, Scratched Mirror, etc). Not only that, a perk was reworked (which isn't that bad, but it definitely isn't a good perk now) and the best killer was nerfed and reworked to be more survivor friendly.
Survivors also have more characters now, along with more perks.
As for Mori's, yeah, they need to be reworked along with keys. It's stupid having a way to end the game earlier than you should. I don't know how to completely balance a Iri Mori, but keys should take a bit to use while giving the killer a sound notification when they start using it. It should also close after 1 or 2 survivors use it. One item, offering, add-on or perk should not turn the game around so easily.

Mori's should just be adjusted so you can use them on death hook only.
Ebony mori- mori all players on death hook.
Green Mori-2 players on death hook
Yellow- 1 player on death hook(remove last person condition)

Keys are really not that big of a deal. At least to me. By the time a key can be used you're unlikely to be killing everyone anyway.
As for Mori's. I suggested before giving them a small rework. Make Cypress Mori allow you to kill your obsession. Make Ivory Mori let you kill one survivor. But only once you've hooked two separate survivors. Make Ebony Mori let you kill all survivors. But only once you've hooked everything survivor at least once.

No it is not.
At the moment you can hook one person and then tunnel them down and instantly mori them.
In my opinion you should have to hook all four survivors one time to even activate the mori. This would prevent from killing one person in the first two minutes of the game, but also would not make the mori entirely useless.

If you need NOED then you're terrible at gen protection.
Using an ebony means you aren't good at sacrificing survivors and need a ######### game mechanic to do it for you.
Ruin is just garbage. Corrupt Intervention is far better than Ruin.

Ebonies are boring for both sides.
NOED is fun for endgame builds but not much else. My killer games usually don't last long enough for it.

NOED should only be used for troll builds such as with Blood Warden. Using it alone means you're bad.

To be fair, 99% of the time it is a Mori and not a Shroud, because Shrouds are actually bad for the Killer.
