Do you really want killer nerfs? (Real talk)

I honestly don’t see why people beg for nurse, spirit, etc. to be nerfed. I’m never upset when I die by anybody as long as it was a fair game. By fair game, I mean I wasn’t hit by an m1 from 5 tiles away, when I’m not tunneled, or camped. I don’t mean tunnel as in the typical, “you tunneled me” cause I just randomly got caught again 40 seconds after my unhook. Nor do I mean camp as in proxy camp. I mean tunneling the second I’m off the hook or as with camping to be literally as close to my face as possible. That’s when I’m upset cause I don’t feel like I’m given the fair chance as my other teammates to play the game. Outside of that, so what if the killers mechanics are fairly strong and harder to counter. I enjoy a good challenge. I don’t mind where either spirit or nurse (pre-change) are. My only thought about spirit is to be changed slightly. As many may have heard or asked before, just change prayer beads to ultra-rare and make it an addon that lets her bump into survivors while phasing or not let that happen at all. Spirit is supposed to be a killer who can surprise you and make you jump. Doing much more than those changes would probably hurt her as a killer. I hope you guys agree. If you feel the need to add your 2 cents, go for it... be civil please.

Most People don’t want exclusively killer nerfs, they just want the game to be balanced and fun. There are things that are OP and things that are super weak both as survivor and killer. Everyone just needs to realize this.

Some people don't care about putting thought into WHY the game has problems and what would actually address those issues. They're also loud and extremely repetitive with no substance.

We just have to ignore them and continue to provide more than tears and salt so the developers (when they actually choose to take community feedback) aren't hating using their own forums.

That’s just something that needs to be fixed or improved for a lighter term. I agree

I agree and I disagree. There are a lot of things on both sides that are very strong and very weak, amen! However, I disagree when you say that most people don’t want exclusively killer nerfs. I play both and often hear both killer/survivor arguments... daily (smh). Typically, I will always hear someone demand nerfs to a killer or a survivor perk/mechanic. They don’t often say “change” or “balance” (as far when I read people’s responses to things or when playing with random SWF groups here and there). I personally do not want absolute balance as that takes away the fun. I’m just hoping people begin to understand its about having fun and not raising pitch forks every-time they lose. That is becoming much more common attitude out of the community since the game came out, in my perspective at least.

Sadly the people who have the most polarizing opinion usually also have the loudest voice.

We need to stay strong and look at it from both perspectives

Killer nerfs are never a good thing, people will just move to another killer and the cycle will repeat until we’re out of good killers.

Im worried the Wraith style ghost face build will get the chopping block next, seeing how it’s quite effective.

No, I want killer buffs, at least buff them when you go against red ranks, because most killers are usually ######### against red rank survivors.

Only spirit because her power needs to be more interactive and with actual counterplay instead of coin flips.

Killer nerfs are always a good thing, if it is neccessary. So are Surivvor Nerfs.

Stop the philosphy "we need this broken stuff to beat the other broken stuff"... just balance the game!

    That's the issue, you cant.

Something will always be better or worse if said things are different, no matter what. It also is dependent on the person or persons opinion. Who decides what's balenced and what's not? Who decides the change for balance?

The game Is fun because its different, each match is different in one way or another, if we had true "balance" nothing would be different and nothing would be fun. But dont worry its balanced.

Or you could learn the actual counterplay, for starters watch the recent dbd tournaments where alot of spirits were killer and yet they didnt 4k. So strange since there is no counterplay and all.

    @TooKoolFoU

No I don't want killer nerfs. I think nurse basekit was fine (addons needed rework) spirit is also fine. I want the game to be balanced around 4man swf. No idea why devs seem to think it is okay to ignore it. I doubt any killer has fun in any of those matches and that is a result why a good amount dcs. But obviously that doesn't matter and can be ignored because reasons.

Now obviously another killer will be changed, cant wait for that. Handholding for people who are bad. gg

It will be hard, i give you that, but nevertheless they have to try. Who decides what is ballanced and what not? Statistics, as usual.

While it is certainly fun since every game is different, what has that to do with ballance? You actually get the most diversity, if every killer is kinda on the same level, and so are items/perks etc.

What about killers that are played more?

Spirit obviously has a higher kill rate than most because shes good and people want something good after nurses "slight change"

If trapper was played alot I'd bet he have a high kill rate as well, do we balance off that?

There are far more killers who need buffs than there are who need nerfs.
