It's not t-bagging, it's twerking. That's why killers go for you and sometimes tunnel/camp you. They want the booty, just for themselves. They need to learn that this booty, your booty is God's gift and needs to be shared with everyone.

Doubt it, some of these people think Spirit has "nO CoUntErPlaY" and think ######### like blue scratch marks is a balanced idea that totally won't fair Survivors...

Nobody is discouraging legitimate advice. We're saying that people who just tell others to "git gud" often do it as a way to mock or cut down their fellow players. This is true in every game, not just this one. We're not trying to debate the finer points of game balance here, we're trying to say that it's not helpful or constructive when you have a dismissive, enraged attitude toward other players.

Also, at this point, even if you are trying to offer genuine constructive advice, saying "git gud" is a quick way to prompt someone to completely disregard what you're saying, because it's become such a loaded, attack-y turn of phrase.

He means when people say git gud and nothing else. If you previously said some advice then that's fine I guess but most use git gud to dismiss someone as a bad player.

If you put “git gud” and you legitimately mean it then I would probably disregard your comment. She does have counter play but targeting NMCKE is a dumb thing to do.

It's a dark souls term that popped into other games. It's actually both a insult and a legit meaning saying get good. Normally outside of the souls community it's just a insult.

This was nice to see. In a game where the quality of the game itself rests delicately in the hands of the playerbase, it is up to us as the players to set the community tone for all. Give to the community what you want in return from the game.

If you want to get better, then just keep playing. Watch videos. Look up different builds. You get back what you put in.

I tend to do that everytime I see someone play a killer and have yet to learn how to use their powers optimally.
I try to tell them how to make more effective use of their time and power to get more consistent downs and kills in their next games.
Sometimes people will just insult me for trying to tell them how to play the game though :/

That’s one of the best ways to learn! When I was brand new to the game I learned how to run tiles by watching No0b3 videos.
I learned A LOT about killer by watching videos by Scott/Monto. It’s a really good way to get better at the game.
