Sacrifices are counted in challenge "None Shall Survive"
BTW I don't know this is SWF or not.. it seems unfair for them

Yup, that's what we've been saying to all the killers complaining about it.

They were most likely in a swf, because of the new rule they set in they were searching around your rank.
Also ya sacrifices do count towards that goal, I know some people got confused becasue of how they worded it saying Kill as in mori.

I don't get how people keep misunderstanding this.
It literally says "By any means", which clearly implies there is multiple ways of doing it, not just the mori animation way, seems pretty obvious to me =/

People have been trying to say this all day, but no one is listening. I guess people just want to find any reason to be upset at BHVR

Also, DCing counts too.

Lol I was thinking that it doesn't count, so I posted this here to spread the information

If a Mori is needed, it will most likely be written like "by your own hands" or something similar.

That's intentional

Does it? I got it first try, but if that's the case, it's even easier than I thought. Put on any secret offering and watch some rage quits.

dcs are as well, I got it done 2 days ago and never got a hook off.

You don't even need to do that challenge to complete the tome and claim the 10 blue icicles and charm thing.
You can go the other route instead and your tome still gets ticked off.

As long as the survivor is considered dead it doesn't matter how.
Sacrifice, mori, bleed out or endgame collapse.
Essentially if you get that no one escapes scoring event you've pretty much achieved the challenge

To be fair, the game does differentiate between Sacrifices and Kills as far as terminology, so I didn't realize that the tome challenge just meant get a 4k.

It even counts DCes. Just bring Iri heads and an ebony mori, youll get the challenge done in 10 seconds, lol.

That's what "by any means" mean. Even 4 DCs count.
1 -
Why wouldn't it count sacrifices? The challenge says "by any means".

Fun fact: killer dc does not count as an escape. It doesn't go both ways for some reason. So don't go bullying the killer as Claudette trying to get her escape challenge.

Yep, kill does not necessarily mean moried, a DC can give you the challenge too, but the challenges that are gonna be tough as hell are the ones to "sacrifice every survivor in the basement in a single game", a DC doesn't count as a sacrifice, neither does a mori, due to DC rates when you're "basement owning" the team, this challenge is gonna be practically imposible to do...

Simple addition of the word sacrifice would have cleared it up for those that were confused.
It was worded badly.
