In regards to the Players Satisfaction Survey
Will we, the community, actually get to partake in the data gathered by the survey or will we be left in the dark once again? Been forever since we got to partake in some data.

If by partake you mean participating in the data collection process, we're doing that by engaging with the survey.
If you mean will we have access to the data gathered... probably not. But maybe some of it. It's up to the devs, ultimately.

Also, was anyone else's favourite part of the survey the question where we got to rate the community on a scale of "displeasing" to "hearty" of all things?

I rated slightly towards the displeasing side of things, cause there's a lot of great things about the community aside from all the toxicity. Mostly, I just thought those were funny words to choose to describe the community either way.

I would love to see the results of the survey. Transparency is the most satisfying thing a company can do.

I mean, I'd like to see the results, but I don't think it's a big deal if we don't. In this context, I wouldn't consider it information we necessarily need to know, so we're not really being "left in the dark".

Its more of a look into the past. We actually got to see a lot of data back then. But alas, that time is long gone.

I'm concerned that if BHVR has another player survey that most people will just "CTRL ALT DELETE" once a question they don't like pops up or things get to hard. And if the survey starts over-performing then we won't see them again.

There were lots of survivor sided questions about team work etc, but not anything about playing killer really.

i've love to see who the most popular survivors are, claudettes are sooo boring and overused, but it'll probably be her because of her invisibility passive lol

No yeah, there's no harm in asking for that.
A few things might've been unclear at best with the last time they gave a big data bomb, but it's still nice to see.
It'd also helps to keep their trend with transparency, something they do way more than a lot of game companies.

I voted slightly on the “hearty” scale because, aside from some bad apples, the community in there when you really need help.

The devs really need to attempt find a way to address the issues with the community.
Everyone hates eachother/toxicity/us vs them and so on...

Have to agree, I wish it wasn't but I had my bar at the same point.
Toxicity runs rampant in this game, DBD is far from having a happy supportive community. Even IDV being so similar there's a huge difference in the communities. You can camp someone to death and they'll still give a GG, It's crazy.
Could you imagine how much more fun the game would be if everyone was a good sport instead of sending hate after every single game.
Personally I think it's one of the games biggest downfalls.

@BBQnDemogorgon This game's barely scratches the surface of gaming toxicity. Hell I'd say this is the least toxic game I play. If you want a wholesome community you'll need to find a more niche game. Anything that's even slightly mainstream gets filled with this type of conduct.

Its true that the community is the worst part of the game but thats kind of a reflection of the state of people on the internet these days

The core design of this game invites this kind of us v them mentality.
MMO's I played in the past had some bad actors, but people on a server got along for the most part because a player's reputation could limit their participation in various events.
This game has no such focus on community not to mention the frustrating mechanics that can grate at a player's nerves further agitating the issue.
