Rage quit and quitting in general - THIS HAS TO STOP

Ok, so I've been playing for at least 2 years and it only got worse... EVERY match I try to play there's someone who quits right at the start or after it gets downed. Literally the last 10 matches I played as killer there was one or two people who rage quitted. I love this game and it's always fun to play with friends, but nowadays people aren't cooperating at all, quitting and ending the whole game experience for everyone in the match. And they do this because there aren't enough punishments for this type of toxicity. I believe the punishments could be bigger like some days of ban. This is really a turn off for me in the game. I just get frustrated and lose all the interest in playing the game I love.

    if punishment was something that worked in society...

    Think about it, people leave like this because it's not worth to stay there, and ban will sound like "finally, time to do something more fun".
