Why in the hell is there only 5 killers challenges and 11 fking survivor challenges, i dont enjoy playing survivor, and being force to play it to do these challenges because fking grind is ridiculous to unlock tiers for rift with XP is a joke.
Why isn't there a system to allow you to pick between either a killer only tome or survivor only locking you out of other one i.e pick killer lock out of survivor or something.

You're right. There is not enough survivors challenges. It should be 4 times more, cause the surv killer ratio is 4:1.

It's around 1400 matches to get to level 75 without doing a single challenge. With challenges included (doing all challenges) then it takes around 500 matches. You have 3 months to do this. If you don't play the game enough to do 500 matches in 3 months, you shouldn't be buying a battle pass.

Oh, probably 70 yeah. I didn't remember off the top of my head. It would take 8.5 (let's say 8 because you can't do half a match) less matches then.
Edit, bad math because tired. The more accurate number should be around 1120 matches with no challenges.
My math is 500xp per match, 800 per fragment, 10 fragments per level. 8000xp per level then. Divide by 500, that is 16 matches per level. 16 times 70 is 1120.

Because some people like to play both sides, and it's good for you to try new things. Also I expect the reason why there are more survivor challenges is to encourage people to play survivor, cause we need that 4:1 ratio for good queue times.

I do play survivor i just dont enjoy as much as killer.
I would rather prefer a option for each tome to be either killer only challenges, or survivor, or mix of both, like it is now if you play each side evenly.

Blind the killer twice while carrying a survivor is so much rng based and will most likely only work one time. After that the killer knows and will probably try to evade being blinded.

I wish that each node shared a survivor and killer challenge so that when you complete either on that tile the entire node was done. That way it would let players choose between survivor and killer.
For example - Sacrifice 2 survivors on the hook as killer OR Escape the trial using Adrenaline as Survivor

Especially as many killers will be running Lightborne or Franklins specifically to stop survivors completing this task.

The leveling is very stupid, without doing challenges it'll take you ten quick games to get 1 level done, especially with the blight event being linked to this, most survivors either finished the first tome in 1 day, I didn't even get all the cosmetics I "Could've gotten" if this rift came out faster

If I recall correctly MandyTalk said that some of those items were place holders and would be changed. But yeah, it is almost like whoever set some of those Tier 4 challeges has never played the game.

Bhvr actually giving players a reason to smurf in order to play against a killer that doesn't know Jack from Sally is not very healthy for the game.

It's actually about 12-13 matches for your first level of the day sans challenges. Don't forget that your first Survivor and first Killer matches give you a 300 experience bonus each. With that you should get a fragment in each of your first two matches of the day. After that it's about 2/3 of a fragment per match or three matches for two fragments.

I still dont understand why there isnt a reset possibilty to change challenges, like dailies. This way you wont be forced to play a role you dont want to play.

Exactly. That's the point of a BP. The archives shouldnt be tied to the rift at all to begin with.
NOW people are seeing "I cant hit max unless I play ungodly hours I dont want to"
OR
Spend money on the Battlepass and max it out that way. Which is what they want. Which is why battlepasses are ######### stupid.
Been saying this a long time. It only works because people will spend money or ridiculous amounts of extra time on a game they really dont want or need to, just to "not miss out" on some rewards.

I actually experience the opposite where we need more killers to get the survivor wait times down. Killer games are instant so theres plenty of survivors. Suvivor is about 10-15 min wait times for me

While it's good for people to try new things, people who have been playing this game for awhile already know what they like.
Taking away a player's choice in this particular matter to artificially inflate the numbers of a particular role isn't good design.
More battle passes would be sold if the archives could be completely completed by one role or the other, instead of being forced to play a role they don't enjoy to complete content they paid for hardly sounds like fun.
Players would be able to play the game with the role they want and make the same progress.
If the devs want players to play more of a particular role, maybe they should make better balance decisions.

At this point i've just given in to the fact that they want people to buy skips.
I got 40 of them. 30 tiers is a reasonable no stress grind and i can actually get elephant clown day 1.
Maybe one day they'll make the time requirement reasonable but i'm not going to just not get the skins i like want when i can afford to skip.

I'm at work so I don't know what the challenges are, but you've got to be kidding me. That's almost impossible. It's one thing to "finish" four gens in a single match, but to complete them fully? I've had matches where the killer is AFK and I still can't do that because people are doing other gens elsewhere at the same time. This sucks.

Tome 2 so far seems extremely uninspired.
I had 2 killers playing with rancor and I thought Hmmm must be a challenge. I went to look and most challenges are based around emblems and doing something extremely simple a set amount of times.
Rancor your obsession 3 times would have been a really good challenge.
Instead the most elaborate killer challenge is to kick a gen 5 times with overcharge equipped.

You can't do 7 matches per day? That's like an hour of DbD every day. Don't buy a battle pass if you can't even put in an hour per day.
