Object of Obsession
So, recently I've been having a streak of games against SWF teams. They're all different people, all different survivors, skins, names. But they all have one perk in common: Object of Obsession.
Now, I've said multiple times in this forum that I am not a very good killer. I play Spirit because she's the only killer I ever got good at, but I never play her optimally ^^;
Rank Reset just happened and I have been matching up with these teams more often than I would like. I play this game to have fun and I personally don't like it when a team goes out of their way to mock me and bully me in a game where I am supposed to be the Power Role.
It just feels very powerless, boring, and unfun to go up against. They know where you're at at all times and they can call out whether or not you are doing a mindgame during a chase. OoO just makes the game feel very survivor-sided. Like no matter what you do, there's nothing you can do to counter it.
I can't bring blindness addons or perks beforehand because I won't know if I am going up against an OoO team or not. I can't just tunnel the OoO user because they tend to be very good loopers and I am a fairly below average killer ^^;
I'm just venting a bit because the whole day I've had nothing but OoO teams and it's just disheartening to play knowing there's not much you can do.
At the very least I know I am getting a bit better, I've gotten better game sense thanks to them. Or maybe it's paranoia? I don't know. Whichever it is I am slightly thankful for them. But they also are the source of a lot of my frustrations today

Is not a particularly helpful comment or advice.
Then again, what do I expect from this community?

Keep playing. It'll get easier the better you get and you'll get better if you stick to it. Experience goes a long way in this game.

There are good SWF teams and there are bad SWF teams. Bad ones use OoO, green toolboxes, instaheals, DS and other BS.
I just ignore them and laugh at their 15k at the end.

There is usually only one OoO user per team. Ignore that person, if they are a good looper. If you are lucky, that person will try to taunt you and not do gens.

Hate to say it but you just have to get better.
Don‘t really see how these kind of teams are an issue when you play a killer thats very hard to counter but easy to play as.
And there is nothing wrong with Object. I ran it myself quite a few games yesterday and it‘s a very risky perk to run especially if you get a stealth killer since they can see you when they enter stealth but you can‘t because of undetectable. And you have to be somewhat good in a chase if you want to use it.

Like I said previously, I'm not a very good killer ^^;
I'm good with Spirit but that is because she's the only killer I've ever learnt to play. I still miss a lot of my swings coming out of phase and I sometimes get easily fooled by some of the most common jukes. But regardless, if it's not up against a team that seems to know what I am about to do 100% of the time, I can get a 2k to a 4k most of my games.
I will try to get better but sometimes I just can't help but feel taunted and mocked by people who use Object of Obsession in this game.

If I see an OoO player, I tunnel them into the ground, even if it means right off a hook. Makes the match so much less of a pain.
I know it's not the most fun option, but it's available.
