Prestige as overlay for outfits
Disclaimer: I know this has been asked many times before. That was a while ago though, and the team has come a long way since then, and have vastly improved their skills.
I was wondering if it would be possible to apply a blood overlay to other outfits rather than having a bloodied version of the default outfit.
I believe this would add a nice touch to the game, I want to show off my prestige levels but some cosmetics are just way better.
Anyone saying that it isn't impossible wouldn't be further from the truth, just take a look at the Plague's vomitting overlay.

I mean a lot of the more recent prestiges just look like overlays anyway so yeah, this seems feasible.

Cause i see it like every month or so.

Blood on clothes and models behaves differently and making every cosmetic bloody would take a shitton of time. It ain't hard, but mundane and boring.
New cosmetics>bloodied old cosmetics

Well, I am not implying I know more or even as much as them when it comes to Unreal Engine (I definitely dont). However, after Plague got introduced, they showed have the ability of applying textures on top of any cosmetic because of the maximum infection level effect on a Survivor (Its a bit different from that, but keeping it simple). And, honestly, it looks pretty good.
Granted they ALREADY have to do that for every new cosmetic just for Plague. Maybe when they say its too much work, it means its too much work on top of doing it for Plague. But I dont know.

Just have it be a shader. Not hard.

Well then if they've already done it for the plague, it's just a matter of retexture, quite literally.
