Since Spirit was nerfed...

Can we nerf Iron Will? Or maybe gen times? Im sure they are "over performing" while we're at it lets make it so that 2.5 gens are done each game as mediam so its perfectly balanced wouldn't want any "over performers"

Nope, Billy's the last of the top 3 high rank viable killers, so he's next on the chopping block. Soon enough the high ranks will change its slogan from "Welcome to Rank 5+, your Quintessential Hillbilly experience, All Hillbilly, all the time!" to "Welcome to rank 5+, The Killer bully simulator experience 2020! Take it easy and have Fun survivors, killers are no threat here."

Personally I think gen times should be left as it is. However, I hear an idea tossed around about action debuff when you are in SWF depending on the amount. So 2-4 will differ on times for actions since it is way easier in squads rather than solos. Then again, if anything of this sort is introduced, survivors wouldn’t let that go and won’t stop till it’s reverted.

cough DS stun time increased because of enduring cough. Time increased to 5 seconds because of enduring and now enduring does not effect it and the time still remains 5 seconds...cough

Legion was always a bad killer. They made them from bad to absolutely terrible with no power.

    Agreed.

Options to counter it exist. Stridor. Bloodhound. Thanatophobia (for the survivors like me that run Iron Will and just stay injured while rushing gens).

As for gen times, they just need to put a limit on how fast a gen can get done. As it stands, 3 survivors on a gen will pump it out in like 35 seconds. No perks or toolboxes either, that's nuts. You should never be able to finish a gen in less than 50 seconds honestly. It'd make stacking gen perks moot, instead just take a toolbox or PT.

That or add some kind of new mechanic that makes it harder to do gens the faster they get done. Like more frequent and difficult skill checks with higher regression penalties if you do gens too fast.

Anything that slows down gen progress is bad for the game though (unless it's a killer perk/power that's doing it). You don't want to turn the game into MORE of an hold button sim for survivors. The more reasonable option is to just make it harder to do the gens really fast with skill checks and such. 80 seconds is entirely reasonable for a solo gen no buffs/debuffs. We don't want to artificially change this because the game is very precariously balanced around this, believe it or not. But we also don't want to see a gen pop in 30 seconds, that's too much.

Another option would be to give the killer some sort of power up based on how fast gens are done. Something they can use to slow down the game, as long as it's not like a speed boost or something.

I've brought up these points before with ideas but they get shot down because it seems most people either want longer gen times or a second objective, neither of which actually fix the problem without causing more problems in the process.

I don't know why everyone's talking about ghostface getting nerfed, he needed a buff and got one. It's extremely irritating because at times he's buggy, for both sides. No need for a nerf just a patch to the bugs
