You take a game that will take a very long time to be E- Sports ready or may never be way too seriously. legit, go into a match and don't take the game seriously. Have a blast and don't try to be the next killer god/survivor god. Just laugh.. DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY.
P.S. There's no leaderboards or rank rewards for being good. Just remember that, love you

I'm kinda glad rank is meaningless tbh. If rank did start to mean something that would cause even more toxicity then their is currently since higher ranked players would start rank shaming those of lower rank..

I would love it, if the game was eSport ready. But there are to many balance issues right now. A lot of work. Not sure if the devs have anything planned in this direction.
The community right now is the most toxic thing i´ve ever encountered. Not even LoL was that toxic (at least not, back when i played it years ago). There need to be more consequences for being toxic in and after the match.

They are, but no one knows any details.
The new report system should have filter options for useless reports like "killer camped me", "killer tunneled me", "killer used perk X", "survivor used flashlight", etc.1 -

The biggest issue with this game is map design. IDk who the map designer/designers are for this game yet they're pretty bad at it. i recall the jigsaw map and during their stream they had an outsource advice/made the map.it is a balance ma yet some of the other maps like the swamp and trying to go up certain piers.. by god..

Actually season 2, 1 and before seasons were very toxic to the point riot reworked it whole report system to what it is today. INSTA BANS after 3 games.

Toxicity? I haven't noticed but yeah nah a lot of it has to deal with the bs competitive mentality a lot of folks wanna feel better than others and a game like this I can't take seriously and I feel it makes no sense for it to be an esport but hey that's me. Also I'd like to add we have too much of an "US vs THEM" mentality which really adds to the toxicity but what can you do?

I guess you never played CS:GO, there people have mics, if something doesen't go their way, they will begin to tell you how they slept with your mother/sister/gf or whatever, maybe even your dog if their into that, haha
