Do you recommend DBD to your friends?
Personally, it’s a no for me. Aside from the grind and the longer you play the game the less you’re actually rewarded for it, is a huge turn off (i.e. devotion, ranking, etc.).
So every time someone ask me if I recommend the game, I say, “no.” I don’t even say much after that. If do ask why, all I say is that it’s not really worth it long term and that it is often more frustrating than fun. We end up playing other games like MW or Fortnite just because I myself am starting to lose interest in this game (BTW MW is great since the last update) Do you recommend any other games to your friends too?
I’m curious to see what you all think.

Nah
Me and a friend found it back when it first launched and played it a bit, we talked about it to some of our other friends, about 5. Made 7 of us in total. 1 of them stopped immediately, 2 of them gave it a few months but stopped all together. I spent the most time on the game. My friend who originally found the game with me got his DBD account banned, so as you do, you make another and do the same ######### cause why not I guess? The other 2 who we play with play it very casually.
But I have never actually recommended it to someone. Can't bring myself to do that. I'll talk about it if it peeks their interest, but that's about it.

Not anymore.
Too many frustrating things to deal with such as camping and tunneling, mori, killer add ons that shouldn't be in the game.
And the fact that you have to get perks like Ruin/Pop when you're killer. I know they aren't needed, but playing without at least one of them makes Killer a lot more stressful than it already is.
Bad ranking system as well, not that unlikely you will get matched with players that are a lot better than you.
And what you already mentioned, the grind which is a lot worse for beginners.

No. It's way too grindy and honestly the ranking system is so ######### horrible that I don't even know why it exists.
I only play because of sunken cost fallacy and because Friday the 13th turned out to be a dumpster fire.

No. I wouldnt wish this evil on any of my friends. Community is mostly toxic and the game itself is contantly either broken from bugs and updates with an abundance of "non game breaking" issues which doesnt excuse the state its in.
I wish much better on my friends.
