There's no reasonable way to nerf SWF outside of letting Killers opt out of having to deal with it. Which will never happen.

Neither. Billy's fine and any changes the devs might actually do with regard to SWF wouldn't be direct SWF changes, but general survivor and killer changes as with the whole "lessen the gap + buff killers that need it" mindset.

I cannot agree with a basekit nerf, played with just the basekit no addons for over 700 hours, and it's basically a staple for balance.
The biggest "problem" is, in the combination of addons. Not one addon in particular. If they wanted to nerf or get rid of Moonshine, I won't cry. If they made it so Primer bulb and Tuning Guide couldn't stack, that would fine. One addon of charge time decrease is plenty.
Like I said, the basekit is very balanced, altering it to extremely is what makes it a "problem". Even though, there are some people who just need to genuinely get better.

Counter-Question. How would you propose a SWF nerf then? Not all SWF are using discord or voice chat. They just play SWF so they can know at least one teammate has a brain.

Nurse basekit was balanced all things considered. But if we are getting into the nitty gritty, Billy's basekit is more balanced than Nurse's basekit.
But hey, what do us, the people that play the characters know, am I right? Better listen to the survivors who DC.
