Legacy P3 Nurse main about the recent Nurse changes

So since the recent Nurse nerf I just pressed F for Nurse and havent played her much. Everytime I did, I had ZERO fun playing her. Some people her kept saying "muh nurse still good, git gud" or something like "Good/experienced Nurse players will not notice a difference".
Alright, so I went on twitch and checked out many streamers, looking for those "good" nurses since apparently Im a crying bad nurse (with over 20k blink attacks btw) and I found a twitch streamer who has over 7000 HOURS playtime, he mains Nurse, he has legacy on her (not that legacy shows skill but just shows that he played since release). This isnt even enough, it also comes that he is LEADING the WORLDWIDE leaderboard in at least 2 categories: Bloodpoints earned and sacrifised survivors. He has over 60k blink attacks as nurse, probably the most on the entire playerbase.
He made a Highlight about nurse. Its on German, but I went ahead and created Subtitles so everyone can understand him. Im not the best in english, so excuse grammatical errors I made. Hopefully its still understandable.

I agree. I play on ps4 and here I wayyy harder to learn nuts and u just can't get the motivation 4 it

Well idk know him much and never played against him. I just recently saw him and after finding some information I found it useful to post his opinion about Nurse since he clearly has the most experience in the community.

Not to be that guy, but the fact he is so dedicated to the Nurse makes him quite biased and it shows.

The video is absolutely on point. Im just really glad i never got to into nurse (the constant fatigue was enough for me to not have fun, the recharge on top was the absolute nail in the coffin for me.)
but on the bright side im going to have a breeze in red ranks as a survivor soon (after the spirit nerf) since there's no killer thats difficult or scary to go up against anymore.

Excuse me while I laugh myself into an early grave. This is what I talk about with my friends from other games that are considered competitive. You can't take this seriously when one side is dictating what their opposition is allowed to do. It's barely even fun casually when you see your favorite killer yeeted with a nerf bat to such a degree. Addon passes shouldn't come at the cost of basekit stats to such a degree. Also 4.2ms ULTRA RARE XD!!! What the hell is that about?! Who is really sitting down and saying "Finally, I can move at game start Myers speed with Nurse! Now, with this movement speed and SINGLE BLINK I SHALL KILL THEM ALL!"
That said if you're still enjoying the game, keep doing that. Just take my advice and sandbag enough games to hopefully protect your killer from whatever draconian balance team lurks in the shadows.
One more thing, rubberbanding blinks! Literal motion sickness inducing rubberbanding blinks due to server ticks! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!111!1!!!11

Take a look into his stats. According to them he plays both sides and also has a lot of experience with all the other individual killers. Just because someone mains a character doesn't make him automatically biased

Nurse mains, join us legion mains in the forgotten killers' dark well.
I don't like to play as or against nurse now because those changes made me sad. Nurse got the legion treatment: Power made the most unfun thing ever, useless add-ons (only 4 add-ons work on legion imo) and you can get bullied by survivors if you don't sweat. Even sweating is very hard to not get bullied.
And nurse can still be a good killer, yes, but that doesn't change the fact that she is very boring.
BTW what is that site that you used to get stats?

Hate to break it to ya. He’s not very good. Hours definitely don’t equate to skill in this example. The person with the most sacrifices according to that site is Piggyz aka Scorpionz, and he’s a boss.

I just saw a few nurse matches from his previous VODs, he seems to be a very solid nurse.
Also that site shows to me something different. Are there filters or something?

Not too long ago (but before the nurse changes) I made a little experiment.
I came to twitch and opened Zubat's stream on one screen and Gamma's on the other one, cause both were about to start a match.
Zubat was playing LF with a mad grit / agitation / iron grasp meme build and got a coldwind map.
Gamma was playing omegablink / ruin nurse on a mcmillan map.
Zubat was playing as usual which ended in a 3 or 4K, can't remember if last guy got the hatch.
On the other screen, Gamma was sweating, claiming "I should have brought an ebony.", "I can't read chat right now, I have to concentrate.", "Next time I bring a mori."
Both played in purple ranks shortly after rank reset.
Don't let yourself get fooled by stats and playtime.

Whenever I watched Gamma playing Nurse, he played it either with Omegablink or 3 Blinks with Range. He is completely biased and whiny about this game.
Not really someone whos opinion should matter. (Except you enjoy the opinion of someone who complains about all the Crutches Survivors have like BT and DS when they are perfect for exactly this person who is camping and tunneling... And who is basically only playing Prayer Beads Spirit with Ebony Mori lately...)
But yeah, high standards for Fog Whisperes confirmed here.

I agree, the changes are awful.
I'll just keep posting a suggestion I think is way better than what we have and still brings Nurse down without breaking both of her kneecaps.
Have a power bar that charging a blink drains from, 1 blink takes 1x normal charge. Something like almost infinite 1 blinks in a row should be the recharge time so it cuts down on double blinks like devs want, BUT: chain blink costs 2x normal blink resources, and should cap out at around ~3 to ~4 double blinks. This retains some of her map and chase pressure, alleviate the incredibly frustrating 99% charge blink eater, and rewards players for using their blinks effectively and with strategy as opposed to just holding them in until you see someone. Of course she slowly regains blink meter over time, regardless of what she is doing atm.
This is still overall a restriction but it is much more lenient, less aggravating, and still retains the skill:reward idea of what a killer should be.

All I know is that it took me around 250 million blood points to get everyone P3 and I have put survivors to sleep 7,300 times.

Well i'm not as experienced as him, but i used to main nurse on console, played her hundred of hours til getting great results even with no add ons, also watched him enough to give an opinion...while i agree most of the add ons now sucks, and the recharge mechanic is unfun and on some maps it's just overkill, if we consider a balanced map, Nurse is till on the top, with Spirit.. the Nurse is nerfed because of the snowball potential she was getting with Infectous fright, she could win a game in like 2 minutes even with no add ons.. gamma used to play nurse with ruin and omegablinks almost everytime, but he was good also without them though..he's clearly not at the same zubat's level, who actually showed nurse is still a thing..the problem is that against top tier survivor is a biiiig nerf.. against average, decent survivors is basically the same, you just need to manage your blink better, and wait 2-3 seconds to down survivor..is it fun ? of course no.. but you know devs balance the game for casuals sadly.. i'd increase base nurse speed to be slightly faster than survivors, then she will be more fun to play.. i'm optimistic that they are doing something good for some disgusting maps, and those tryhard swf, since the most powerful killers, possibily the few ones viable against strong teams, are nerfed..

Not getting carried by the addons is one thing.
The basekit was way too much and now ruins any fun you can have with Nurse.

She still bypasses survivor defenses as good as she ever did once you are in the loop.
All this talk that she's been killed is hyperbolic nonsense. She still arguably an S tier killer.
By the way, time played means nothing. I've watched people suck their way to the top of plenty of games - this one is no different. Your argument from authority is worthless.

Have you even watched the video? He said he is totally fine with the range addon change and that this should have been done to all addons. If he gets carried by range addon than he would have ranted about the change aswell (what he didn't). So your point SOUNDS illogical to me

You’re using one persons example as a base for your post.
Good Nurses still do fine. Bad Nurses have been exposed or turned into Spirit mains for now.

If they revert the base kit change and give her the ultra rare addons she deserves instead of the current ultra trash she has nurse would be fine.

Nurse is too limited. As usual, I destroy incompetent groups, since no nerfs will help them. But if a group knows how to push gens, there is nothing Nurse can do. Her map mobility is now trash and doesn’t allow her to defend gens.

Not really related to if Nurse is good or bad but damn, I have never seen a Legacy Nurse before, I saw my first P3 Nurse a few days ago but wow. Because of the Nurse changes I barely see Nurse anymore and really hope to go against a Legacy one day, I switched over from the console a while back so seeing one is really cool to me.
I find new Nurse kind of a mix between the same and easier to play against.
Easier obviously because that player is not that good after the changes and the same because they were predicting where I was going, bad map so not really many places.
