Cursed Legacy: Chapter 14 Predictions and Thoughts
So y'all, the next teaser was revealed for chapter 14, Cursed Legacy.
We can all tell that this chapter will have lore relating to a member in The Spirit's lineage, whether it be her father or the ancestor previously mentioned.
With what we know now, I think it's safe to say that the killer will be named The Oni or The Demon and have an Oni aesthetic. I personally hope he has a stoic personality and a rather large and adorened design. I think he will have a proper Katana, instead of Rin's Wakizashi (or at least I think she has that... She has a shorter sword.).
His power... I have no idea. But there may be a chance he could have the similar passive phasing that Spirit does.

So I'm thinking it's the ancestor and maybe that will be his name too, if he's from ancient Japan and a soldier than maybe we'll be seeing some more raggedy looking cosmetics, he was never actually said to be a Samurai.
The leaks suggest he has 2 Modes but honestly I can't predict his power because it could be too similar to what we already have. A Katana requires 2 hands to hold so maybe he'll get a rush attack and then swing? Maybe similar to Hillbilly but probably not.

It could be a female killer too. The mask is a Hannya mask, that are female demons

I think its pretty safe to say his power/perks might have something to do with blood, given the "Your blood belongs to Yamaoka" line and the blood related imagery featuring in both teasers.
But then again the Legion trailer happened so who knows ?

I'm pretty sure that's an oni mask.
In Noh, Hannya usually represents a woman who is vengeful, jealous, and angry, rather than a punisher of the damned.
A Hannya would actually fit better with the Spirit, rather than her ancestor.

I hope it's something to do with blood, but I think that's just imagery for both his violence and his lineage with another killer.

What is written in Japanese could be translated as putting a curse or even hating intensively. Probably something related to some kind of curse in my opinion.

Watching the teaser and looking at the lore again it really does sound like a curse was put on the father, he dishonered his ancestors by using cheap material to fix problems around the house, much like my bosses, and it sounds like that angered them. He became depressed and kept hearing dark whispers so I'm thinking he had a curse put on him and then he shamed his legacy by murdering his family, his daughter Rin became a vengeful Spirit and her blood was absorbed into the mask so I'm thinking the father ######### up so hard he accidentally summoned the wrath of his ancestors.
The only problem I see with everything is that if it is the ancestor or an Oni/Hannya I don't see why it would go into the the realm of The Entity when it is clearly going after the father, I mean Rin was basically saved and given another life by the Entity but what brings this? Then again maybe nothing since both the Clown and Ghostface literally just took a stroll and ended up in the Fog lol

Look up Hannya Masks, that's one. They don't look like women, I'll grand you that, but that's one

the mask in the trailer is the ancestors mask and the ancestor was male
oni and hannya masks are supposed to look exactly the same, the only difference is the story behind them
onis are giant brutal male demons and "dead or ancestral spirit" or "a soul/spirit of the dead" and they "torture sinners to serve a higher god"
hannya are just jealous female demons who disguise themselves to sleep with men and then eat them.
oni checks out in every way to be the next killer, like I don't think an ancestor is going to be awakened and ready to sleep with male survivors because something terrible happened to their bloodline
