I really despise rank reset
It’s not all bad it’s just extremely frustrating having run the killer around or get some gens done etc basically make good progress only to be facecamped or tunneled right off hook. “I don’t know why so many survivors DC” maybe because you literally hold us hostage and can’t do anything about it. If ur going to be petty I’m not giving you the kill or the pip plain and simple. “So you did all that work for nothing and throw your progress away” yup sure did no point in staying to not get points and giving a skill less killer who can only camp and tunnel to kill. Sorry about it. Obviously not every killer is like this, but my gah rank reset literally brings out the most pettiest of killers.
any arguments can be between yourself and yourself alone but not me :) have fun ^_^

Rank reset is always interesting. You never know what you're going to get.
-Swf groups that have the gens done in 5 minutes flat with ruin still up.
-Potatoes so bad you couldn't lose the game if you tried.
-Dcers.
-Tunnel/Camping killers.
-People who meme too much

Everygames is different and I love it. When ranks settle the people you play with or against tend to be really similar.

1) It brings out crap survivors for killers to face too. It don't just bring out petty killers only. But things happen, if you don't like it don't play the game.
2) This stuff doesn't only happen right when rank reset happens. You must only play for a week once the reset hits and then claim that's only when this happens. Cute. It happens all the time, sorry to bubble burst.
3) So you made this post just to say you hate rank reset but don't care for other people's opinions? Don't make a forum if you don't care what others have to say, that's the point of the forum. People are gonna reply. If you expect everyone to agree and don't wanna "argue" (as you so lightly put it) with people who have differing opinions, then who says we want your opinion?

And you always get the wrong one.
When I play Trapper for the challenge, it's a symphony of trap disarm noises across the map. All of the Object of Obsession users come out from the rocks they live under.
When I play survivor it's like somebody offered to pay the survivor who steps in the most traps a million dollars.

DCing is almost never an acceptable action. Do you care so little for your own time and work that you can just throw it away because another player is making things difficult for you or trying to ruin your game? You aren't getting anything out of it, you are showing you don't care about your teammates AND you are giving the style of play you hate a complete and total win.
Please stop DCing, you are really only hurting yourself when you do it.

I know the feeling. My first game of rank reset resulted in me being facecamped in the basement, while all my team surrounded me for the save when they should’ve been doing generators.
Of course this would be the one game I was able to Kobe off the hook, only to get Mori’d right after.

Usually for me on rank reset day it's nothing but ebony mori's everywhere. Thankfully this time I haven't ran into a single mori which is very shocking to me lol.

The worst thing about rank reset is teammates. If the killer is petty it can be somehow managed, but with the survivors you get paired with right after rank reset it's unbearable.

I don't use noed and I hit rank 1 playing nothing but Trapper. Try again.

Adrenaline rewards you for doing the objective. Why should you get a free escape (exaggerating here, obviously) just for... playing the game?
Also BT is not just for camping. SWF like to abuse it. Same with DS.

Lack of respect for teammates lmao that’s funny, I usually get one hooked or struggle and then get tunneled after the unhook but I lack the respect for my teammates who can’t even do the simplest thing if Unhooking me OKAY

Ask so many people and they will tell you how sweaty and salty survivors can get when you play killer. I might be a survivor main as well but I understand that killers also get rude freaking survivors. Killers are not the ONLY 'petty' side playing this game.
And it does happen all the time. Killers/Survivors get sweaty/salty/toxic for the entire month from one rank reset to the next rank reset. Ask so many people.
I've been playing for a while, maybe not since it came out but damn well long enough to see that it's not just one side. It's not just during rank reset. So don't blame rank reset. Don't blame one side.

I’m saying I hate rank reset because it’s more excessive than it is normally. I play both roles and I know there’s toxic pettiness on both sides. Then how do I not know what I'm talking about if you literally just admitted in the same paragraph that what I said was true? Some good logic there. I don't see the point in complaining about it happening in rank reset when you agree it happens on both sides and not just during rank reset. It's also not as excessive as you think during the reset. I been playing for a while now too, imo it happens the same amount at any time - rank reset, mid month, right before reset, don't matter because it happens all the time.
So if anything is 'funny' it's you because I don't understand someone who says what I say is pointless and incorrect then turns around and tries to continue arguing while saying you agree with what I'm saying. It makes no sense. You said NO WHERE in your original post that you know survivors are also like this, no where that you know it happens all the time. You just complained about killers holding the game "hostage" and camping a lot during reset and what not.

I see people either like it because they are red ranks tired of the red rank #########, or people are tired of the horrific killers and dumb teammates. They need to fix the ranking system so it isnt so horrible for high ranks and then they can slow down the reset to like every new pass. Dont know how they'd fix ranking though.
