Rancor
So I noticed that Rancor doesn't activate if you close the hatch, and after looking into the perk description, and NOED's description, Rancor only activates after 5 generators, while NOED activates when the gates power up, why is this a thing, why not just let Rancor activate when the gates power as well?

Possibly, but if you close the hatch and find the survivor they're dead either way, and it's less points if you just mori them outright, along with less emblem score

@Bubbly_Cuds imo its about 2 things:
1st is consistency bitter murmur and rancor proc every time gen is repaired and closing hatch isnt repairing gens but empowering gate
2nd when you close hatch and rancor/bitter murmur would work last surv will lost in the instant (well its not like whispers are pretty equal to win anyway)

To play Devil's Advocate, aren't they good as dead once you find the last survivor? What difference will a mori make? It's near impossible to wiggle out anyways, and in fact, the mori gets the match over with quicker so you can move on to the next Trial.

Probably because Rancor would show the survivor's location, and the EGC is already skewed toward the killer without a big circle drawn around the last guy.
