So what is Oni and what does he do?

Is he Spirit’s dad? Is it just a random guy? What does he do? I just got out of school and have only seen trailers and would want to know if he’s good or not. Also what are the perks for the survivor and killer?

    He's an ancestor of Rin's- not the original ancestor mentioned in the Family Residence lore (he's got a dad), but he's from around the time of feudal Japan.

    He’s pretty cool lol, some people say he’s a watered down billy. Basically, injured survivors drop blood which charges his ability. Once it’s full, he can charge across the map or wind up an insta-down hit

    The Oni is an ancestor of the spirit. He plays like a bloodfueled hillbilly with Windows of Opportunities for killers, if you don't heal you lose your Exhaustion and start bleeding like a pig when the killer hooks someone and piss the killer of by stunning or blinding him and you become his new Obsession with Oblivious on top.

    Survivor get I don't bleed, why don't we put the pallets back up? and I got you fam! Just wiggle harder I am here for you!

    He's an ancient samurai who got his feewings hurt when people for some reason did not take kindly to him killing other samurai he deemed to be "imposters."

    He absorbs blood orbs that pour out of injured Survivors to enter a powered up mode that lets him dash faster and one-shot Survivors with a club.

    Killer perks:

    1) Inflicts exhaustion and hemorrhage on injured Survivors whenever someone is hooked.

    2) Lets you see all pallet and vault point auras within a 24-meter radius (temporarily turns off when he hits people)

    3) Anyone who stuns or blinds you (barring wiggling free) becomes the Obsession, becomes Oblivious for some time, and has their aura revealed for 4 seconds


    Survivor perks:

    1) You can conceal your blood tracks for 3-minutes total

    2) Every two minutes, you can reset one pallet that has been dropped but not broken

    3) Standing very close to the Killer while carrying someone makes you faster and allows the carried Survivor to wiggle free faster
