So about that Kindred change...
Am I the only one who thinks it looks awesome?

Kindred is a base perk for every survivor.

the change isn't on anything sides ptb

I'm on ps4. I'm just going off reading the change.

Swf have it built in , so they won't care.
And the dev's idea about having it as a survivor base kit went into the trash.
As for me , the change doesn't really matter since there are way better perks , so I won't be using it unless there will be a challenge in the tome.

Guess it's just me who thinks being able to see if someone else is going for the save is awesome.

Kindred becomes really interesting for solo players.
The founding principle of this perk is to counter camping. Legitimate camping is obviously not a problem.
However illegitimate camping remains a plague, always achievable by the most boring killers. Illegitimate camping must be made completely absurd for the killer, without the survivors needing a perk.
I refuse this blackmail. If this buff will allow solo players to coordinate better in normal games, this buff will not change anything to the problem of camping.

It probably the best solo perk.

the best "solo" perk is everything focused on yourself and your survival. you can't depend on strangers and a perk will not change that

It's a very, very good buff and I might start using it a lot more now.

yea but they don't see whether the other 2 survivors are going too. So it is good only for you. But do you really needs this ? Hook saves should be a basic instict when to go - being nearby, uninjured, seeing something else on the map. You don't need perk for this. The old Kindredd was way more useful for the guy on the hook cause he knows they see each other and someone will come for sure, if he fails - another one etc till the last one and more importantly - they all can see if the killer is camping you and may just gen rush him .. Not possible with the new Kindred ...

this perk is now all i wanted as a solo survivor

Unless I misread it you see the other survivors. Which let's you know if you should leave your gen or not.

Yea but they don't see you or each other unless they run the perk. So you can run for the hook and someone else may decide to join u too cause he does not see you. You may stop but someone else can run for it too cause they don't see each other. So it is only you who benefits from this but you don't really need it as I mentioned

The new effect is added on top of the old kindred as far as I know. So, if you get hooked, it's still the old kindred but if someone else gets hooked you still get to see others and the killer now.

What ? Now if that is true that would be great ...

This is from someone else's comment:
Player 1 has Kindred, Player 2, 3, and 4 do not.
Player 1 gets hooked.
Player 2, 3, and 4 get the Kindred effect.
Later, Player 2 gets hooked.
player 1 gets Kindred.
Players 3 and 4 do not.
Kindred is amazing now.

It’s going to become one of my must have perks whenever I play solo. Such a great and surprising change!

I'm mostly solo player (that's why I play killers more), and I think I'm going to play it quite a bit. The stupidiest thing about solo players is they don't know if they should come or stay on a gen, and this perk gonna help YOU as a solo play what to do when somebody is hooked.
