BHVR please don't listen to people on reddit
Don't listen to them brainless people that don't know anything other then upvotes, you want actual feedback for this killer? Listen to your forums or even your fog whispers, not people on reddit, never listen to people on reddit, they say anything just to get upvotes that's all they want.

lol It's funny that you think BHVR listens to ANYONE.

What is being said on reddit?

No one can lmao
They don't, but only people on reddit, I mean, why do you think all of these unnecessary buffs and nerfs are coming from? Lel
That the oni is already too OP lmao

the they shouldn't really listen to much on reddit or here. both are horribly biased. game data is the best way to tell how this killer is performing when compared to previous killers upon release/ptb

All communities are their own little circle jerk echo chambers. Regular users just find one that suits them and parrot each other for upvotes. This community is no better then the rubreddit or steams.
6 -
Lol imagine thinking that The Oni is too powerful.

Space coconut is right you know. People BHVR have told me this personally, they never "truly" listen to what people say or want, the bottom line has always been their "data" no matter how faulty the data actually is in practice or whatever breaks through the noise ceiling at any given time. Next will likely just be how loud people asking for changes to billy or whatever they feel like it.

I actually like reddit a lot better than this forum, one because of the mods on here and two they're just a lot less toxic.
90% of the posts on here boil down to "######### the Devs" lol

Exactly, if you know how to maneuver against Billy they can damn well do it against Oni
True true, they need to hire new people, or completely rehire everyone lol
And that's what exactly BHVR doesn't understand, what data to use, they just use any, and using PTB data is the worse kind of data. PTB's or any test servers are there to test new things out to make sure it works, its mostly when it comes to live versions is when they take live data and think about what needs balancing. For BHVR they don't understand that, and so when they take data from PTB where ranks and match making is useless, because it's off, they are getting data from low rank/inexperience players and think its "good data" and then proceed to make unnecessary nerfs.
I'm pretty sure all of us remember what happened with ghostface after just AN HOUR after live release because they got "vailed data" from somewhere random.

Way to misread the room, it's the same people on both forums.
1 -
You say this like you think using data is somehow worse than the opinion of whichever group of people they decide to listen to.
1 -
You can Never trust reddit anyways lol. But yeah, I agree, that site isn't really any place to take advice from Especially not balance advice.

The oni is a damn powerhouse, and I want him to be released as such. Let him be a god among men, and the data will speak for itself. No knee-jerk reactions, just solid gameplay info.
One important thing though is that since the DC punishment is going to go live with him, you'll have to account for way more suicides where people would have in the past simply left the game lol
1 -
They have funny memes though :(
2 -
Time to test whether BHVR really can separate data
0 -
Honestly they shouldn't take advice from litterally anyone anywhere. The data should speak for itself.
As far as oni is concerned though I absolutely love him, but when he isn't in demon mode he is essentially a m1 killer. I think a passive ability outside of demon mode might make him a bit better but blood orbs make good for tracking injured survivors and he is one of the few killers that make you feel like healing is really important.

Hopefully they can
At this point yes, but we all know how BHVR determines there data, and since people are getting punished for DCing, they will now suicide on hook, and so BHVR need to know what matches where it shows the killer is "over preforming" and what matches shows people suicideing. Actual data vs BHVR data

Beeb posting in the subreddit for 2 years and here since the launch. Can confirm they are both opposite ends of the same spectrum. Whinging on both ends from people with no knowledge of game balance or skill drowning out actual discussion
the subreddit does manage to have a better sense of humor sometimes though

Wait a minute. Do I know you somehow?

I'm very suspicious of you because of all the upvotes you've got on this post!
Have another one though.

Yikes, didn't even notice that, trust me, I'm not a reddit person lol

Ehh game data only tells part of the story you need the context on how the data got that way
