What is your favorite addon combo?
I'll just give a general list for each killer, but I'm curious to know what yours are. Keep in mind I play on Xbox, so if, for instance, I say I'm bad at Nurse/Hag, that's the reason why.
Trapper: Trapper Bag + Logwood Dye: Extra traps are kind of mandatory, although using the purple addon is a bit overkill imo, while logwood dye, while not overpowered, can be quite good. Especially on Coldwind Farm. It's just the right color as most of the floor texture, so it's very hard to see on the ground, and so it gives me an edge on the worst maps for killers.
Wraith: I guess All Seeing Rune (purple) + Coxcomb... but I don't play wraith a lot. I don't really know.
Billy: I like the Doom Engravings + Death Engravings. I don't down people with my saw very well, but I do love zooming around the map at a blink of an eye.
Nurse: Matchbox + Plaid Cloth: I'm bad as nurse, so I need the crutch of Plaid cloth, and Matchbox makes me a bit faster, so if my blink fails, I can still have a chance.
Myers: I have two, Infinite Tombstone Myers, and J. Myers Memorial + Judith Journal. Infinite Tombstone Myers is a bit more fun to me than normal myers, but I really like the Obsession build as well, where you almost have T3 up infinitely due to how quickly you can get it when you run those two with Furtive chase.
Hag: I am actually really fond of the Waterlogged Shoe + Willow Wreath combo. I don't like playing normal hag, so I use the traps as information gatherers. I set them up in places survivors go to, then when they trigger I make my way over with the aura reading helping me locate them. Most people don't realize I have the second addon, although they may figure I have the first one.
Doctor: Iri King + any range addon. I love the Red King. It's such a good addon. Every affliction (minus exhaustion) on a survivor, the only downside being you have to zap them 7 times to get them all? That's really good. Amazingly good. You'll never lose them if you zap them the minimum amount, and they'll never know what you have, so they'll keep guessing.
Huntress: I'm actually a fan of the Oak Haft + Flower Babushka. The decreased cooldown plus the decreased windup is very useful for me.
Bubba: Beast Marks + Carburetor Tuning guide. Bubba isn't good. But these two addons 1. counter some of his problems, and 2. make him a bigger threat. His biggest problems are his charge up and his slowdown. Beast marks makes you faster, while the tuning guide gets rid of the downside of the marks by speeding up your charge time.
Freddy: On old freddy, I would've just said the old range addons, but now on new Freddy, I'll say that I like the Outdoor Rope + Prototype Claws. I'm not a fan of snares, but I can still use them. I also don't like the scummy way Swing Chains works, but I do appreciate some slowdown.
Pig: Combat Straps + Video Tape. The traps are never useful enough for me, so I have to rely on my own ability to get survivors off gens. These two enhance the stealth and ambush abilities. However, I do like Combat straps + Amanda's Letter as well.
Clown: Thick Cork Stopper + Solvent Jug. Causing Exhaustion during a chase is an amazing thing. So is reloading faster, since Clown's bottles are all he has.
Spirit: I'm a fan of the Hairpiece and any movement speed addon. This allows me to pretend to phase then quickly catch up with survivors who walk away. I'll know where they are and be able to react quickly. I guess the being able to phase quickly part is what appeals about both addons.
Legion: Iri Button + Etched Ruler or Green Sketchbook + Etched Ruler. The cooldown reduction for Frenzy is very useful. I play legion a lot so I can say for certain that the Ruler addons are very good. Iri button isn't good because of it's ability to break pallets, which is what it's often praised for. It's true brilliant part to it is the map wide TR and KI readings. Knowing where every survivor is after stabbing one survivor with Frenzy allows you to make desicions that can make or break a game... which is what legion thrives on. However, if you see them on the edge of your TR with the sketchbook, then you will actually be able to catch up to them easily. In essence, Iri button is for more awareness, while Green Sketchbook is to be able to apply pressure more easily to multiple survivors.
Plague: Black Incense + Any Apple (preferably green though). This addon combo is very dirty, but I love it. It forces the survivors to realize: They're in a damned if they do, damned if they don't situation. Either they stay broken with the ability for her to track you 24/7, or you cleanse, hurting the rest of your team... not to mention that if you're all broken, I can give myself a corrupt purge at any time, and down you quickly. If you use the green addon, there's a bonus of extra infection time on objects, which can actually give you some information. If you know what is still infected an see survivors get infected, then you'll know where to go and find them. That part of plague's kit is vastly underappreciated in my opinion.
Ghostface: Chewed Pen + Knife Sheath. Faster Night shroud is very useful. I always crouch when in Night Shroud, so that's why I bring it. I'm not too fussed if people break me out, since by that time they're usually exposed.
Demogorgon: Thorny Vines and Mew's Guts. I use my portals as information sources, so I put them at active totems and gens I want to protect and activate them as quickly as possible. Mew's guts gives an extra portal, and thorny vines not only lengthens the time taken to destroy one, but also increases each portals information range. Mew's Guts also has the benefit of faster recovery on missed shred attacks, which is useful in a chase as well.
I think you can tell what killers I play more than others. XD
I'm curious to see what you all use.

Hag
Rusty Shackles and Disfigured Ear

Oof. That's evil. : D
Deafening them from nowhere, that's gotta be quite something... I should try that when I have more of those.
1 -
Hag: Cracked Eggshell + Dead Cicada. Helps you teleport from almost across the map, and allows for awesome mindgames at loops for survivor that know how to bait the traps in a chase.
Plague: Don't play her a whole lot so I forget the names, but the purple one that makes Vile Purge more affective and the green one that gives a faster cooldown and more speed while charging Purge.
Huntess: FINALLY got my adept Huntress last week. The hindered and exhaustion hatchets did the trick for me.
Trapper: Trapper Bag and Setting Tools. Love the extra speed while placing traps, and it also helps with the "survivor gets trapped and immediately gets out" BS that seems to always happen when I don't run tools. lol
Spirit: I love the activation and haunting speed addons as well.
Doctor: Restraint + Moldy Electrode. Easy tracking with more hallucinations and better shock range without too much charge time, so it's easier to shut off some loops.
1 -
Hag: I like those too, but I don't find myself very successful with normal Hag.
Plague: I think you're looking for Vile Emetic + Incensed Ointment.
Huntress: Yeah, anything that messes with survivor abilities is decent enough.
Trapper: I'd only use the fastening tools Instead of the Bag addon, I don't know, I like the dye too much.
Doctor: Restraint is good. But honestly, nothing beats Iri king. Sure, at the beginning it'll take longer to down people, but it's a lot worse for survicors in late game and you never really have to worry about T3.
Good choices all in all.

oh for hillbilly spiked boots and primer bulb the turning is very good
1 -
I see,so you use it to get a lot of turning ability with a faster startup. That's clever.

Trapper with Stiched Bag and Tar Bottle.
additional Traps AND hard to see Traps?
thats heaven for me!
2 -
That is very good. But I find half the time Tar Bottle sticks out more than you'd think, especially on maps like Ormond, Hawkins, or The Game. There are places there where Logwood is just better.
But then I'm weird like that. : P
1 -
I prefer double apple for Plague, you can wreck a team pretty quick if the map's right.
Iri King and High Stim Electrode for Doctor. The only thing that makes him remotely viable.
2 -
That is true. But after you use both...? They'll have no incentive to cleanse then. I like to save corrupt for later in the match. But that's me.
Completely agree with Iri king.

Sloppy + Nurse's Calling
Enduring + Spirit Fury
0 -
Those are perk combos. I was discussing addons. : P
But those are still great perk combos. : )
1 -
Rat Liver and Deer Lung on demogorgon, brings your move speed up to like just barely over 100% when charging shred, and lets you move a lot faster between tunnels.
1 -
Tbh I hate plague so much, I won't even play her without double apple it's the only way I can get a kill at all with her.
0 -
All I can say about your ability with Plague is: get gud.
In all seriousness though, Plague's tricky. You have to know what you're doing, and how you're going to do it. Anything less and you'll lose badly.

Not bad addon choices. I prefer more information, but you do you. : )

"Windstorm" - Blood + "Windstorm" - White.
*makes racecar noises*
1 -
Lol. Add PWYF and then you've got a racecar. XD

Use one early game, one late game. Try to hook by the pools so you can capitalize on their altruism. Using them back to back is not a good idea, you essentially burn through all your best ammo.

Oak Haft + Bandaged Haft as Huntress
Basically Save The Best For Last for hatchets, absolutely brutal if you find several survivors and get to fire away. And that's without even mentioning the basement 😈
1 -
Welp I only play wraith soo
I like using for the most part
Windstorm(either purple or green)
Swift Hunt(same ^^)
You go ahead of the surv you block him , lunge + speed boost if no pallet or window nearby its almost a guaranteed hit :B

All I can say is drift king billy

Doctor: Iridescent King + an Electrode
Freddy: Red Paint Brush + Paint Thinner
Demogorgon: Mew’s Guts + Rat Liver
0 -
For my favorite killers :
Mother Daughter Ring + Bloody Hair Brooch ( but because the charge time add-ons are getting nerfed, Dirty Uwabaki might be better now in this combo ).
Black Incense + Apple and Vile Emetic + Incensed Ointment on Plague.
0 -
pinky finger + gin bottle = toxic fun.
1 -
I'm going to break the rule a little bit and mention a few addon + perk combos that I like.
Trapper: Honing Stone + Deerstalker = If players free themselves from your traps they are in dying state and you can easily find them to pick them up.
Myers: Vanity Mirror + Dead Rabbit + Monitor & Abuse = Get to Evil Within 2 and have 16 meter wall hacks and no terror radius for the remainder of the game.
0 -
That's cool. : )
0 -
That's cool, I'll have to try those.
0 -
Perhaps... but I don't think they're getting altered that much...
Good to know someone else recognizes the power of the apples! XD
0 -
That's almost as bad as Iri Hatchets, yet people don't complain about that...
0 -
Trapper: I should try that after I get trapper back to level 50.
Myers: I should try that. It seems like a pseudo Scratched Mirror...
0 -
Trapper: Honing Stone + Padded Jaws (but only when I'm using StBfL)
Either you instantly get 2 stacks or you can pick up the survivor for a free hook.
1 -
People don't complain about that because Clown still needs to M1 to get the instant down, while Huntresses instant down is a range, also, bottles hits are harder to hit than hatchets hits.
1 -
True...

Pre-Spirit Change:
Yakuyoke Amulet + Wakizashi Saya. Insanely powerful. Much more powerful than both of her Ultra Rares combined with an insane lunge.
Post-Spirit Change:
Dirty Uwabaki + Rusty Flute: Faster than Pre-Spirit Yakuyoke and charges faster too, just not as long and I am fine with that.
1 -
Interesting combination. I should try that combo before it goes away.

Nurse: double cd
0 -
I'm not sure what you mean by this... can you elaborate?
0 -
I love to play the nurse with her only viable build: both cooldown addons.
1 -
I see. You meant double cooldowns. That would be decent together.
1 -
yeah, of course.
Trapper in general is rather map dependend.. :/
but since most of the maps have dark ground, Tar Bottle is usually a good call.
also, have you tried Logwood Dye on Pale Rose?
if you trap the boat, its godlike! (your traps have literally the same color as the boat itself)
1 -
I like for Pig
Green Rank Last Will with Either Bag of Gears or Interlocking Razor
Purple Ranks Last Will and Combat Straps
Red Ranks Last Will and Tampered Timer or Combat Strap
If I want to mix it up Tampered Timer with Crate or Gears or Jigsaws Sketch.
1 -
Doctor with double calm addons
Myers with dead rabbit and jewelry box or J. Myers memorial
Trapper iridescent stone and stitched bag
Yoink spirit with anal beads and mother daughter Ring
Demodog with red moss and upside down resin
Almost every time having good laugh with these even tho i feel pretty evil same time
1 -
I have not tried logwood on pale rose. I'll have to. : )
0 -
All respectable. It messes with survivor's ability to track RTB uses, and makes you more effective.
0 -
Bing bong with silent bell and no red stain for few seconds. I love it! It is so much fun. Not really that strong but great for different kind of playstyle from the usual
1 -
I LOVE using Black Incense with Vile Emetic on Plague- survivors get infected super quickly, and I can see them no matter if they're hooked, walking, or on the ground (so sad that last bits getting nerfed RIP). Oni's Bloody Glove and purple blood orbs addon is nearly identical :D
1 -
Hag: Rusty Shackles + Dead Cicada
1 -
Double calm is useful, but I don't find it very effective in the long run.
Those are good Micheal addons.
Not bad, but I think Iri stone is a little overrated.
Those spirit addons are alright... but still not the best.
Those would be good together... I should try them after getting Demo back to level 50.
0 -
That is true, it would be quite fun! Although I prefer red clapper and Purple All seeing myself. Sure, they won't be surprised if they look, but they'll never stay hidden.
