Question for killers

about how often do you give the last survivor hatch and why?

I'll usually give them the hatch if one of their teammates DC's early in the game unless they're a jerk.

I usually give them the hatch if they played fairly well (without using any of those perks like Object of Obsession) and they gave me a good game that was both fun and enjoyable.

It's just my way of saying thanks for a great game.

I give the hatch when only two survivors are left and I notice that only one person is still working and doing their best to escape and the other person is doing nothing.

I slug the surv who worked, try to find + kill the hatch camper, and give the hatch to the person that was working.

Almost every game, unless I have a mission or challenge that requires me to kill them. Most of the time when I play killer (which, admittedly, is not extremely often) I let as many people escape as I can, and I give the hatch to whoever was my personal favourite, either because they played well or didn't BM or just because I liked how they looked.

The reason is mainly because I don't play killer often enough to rank up, but my extensive experience as a survivor has made me a much better killer than those grey-ranked survivors deserve to go up against, so I would rather give them a fun, educational game and let them escape than stomp them mercilessly.

Honestly, I won't let go anyone except I can obviously identify that he/she is a newbie.

Not often. Usually for two reasons:

    1) I'm in a good mood and feel like it.

    2) The hatch is closer than the nearest hook and I'm too lazy to walk there.

Depends on the situation. If it's a group who's been fun, I'll sometimes let the fourth go. Almost always if I know they've been getting griefed by their own team (like a solo getting abandoned by an SWF).

It's not usually the hatch, though. I'll take points for closing the hatch, down them, walk them to the gate, then let them get points for opening and escaping. You both get more points that way.

Mostly the guy whos been abused the most like if other survivors unhook him right infront of me and stuff like that ill always go after the unsafe hooker then kill the others.

I give hatch or the gate to the last survivor almost every game regardless of how good or bad they played and I hate myself for it.

Never at purple or red ranks. I may give hatch only at rank reset if I come cross a baby survivor.

When I don't wanna rank up as fast, because 3 sacrifices rarely reward 2 pips but 4 sacrifices do.
