Dear Whining Killer Mains
Because I looked up a few dead by daylight lore stuff amoung other things Google started suggesting this in the discovery news tab at the side of my phone so I decided to check a few posts which made it consistently give me a new one at least every day.
Its been about 2 months now and there is a very amusing pattern emerging. Every time a change goes through that's good for the game (for example: The Spirit nerf (and I'm a 50/50 player, survivor and killer AND my main killer is spirit so I'm not being one sided here, i'd 4k nearly every game with her without beastly add-ons), a killer starts crying that it's all the survivors fault. Or I notice a new post about survivors whining all the time. Infact, all I've seen is killer mains whining about something wrong with the damn games and haven't got a single post pop up with a salty survivor. It's actually hilarious, there are probably a few salty survivors on here but all this damn forum is is a cesspool of upset killers that cry about survivors all day and then claim that they aren't the ones crying.
Whatever change goes through its always a killer that's crying or making the same joke pretending to be a salty survivor then saying Oh hahahaha I'm just joking, like ok, it wasn't that funny the first time, your just copying everyone else on this forum with lazy unoriginal jokes. The only thing funny about it is how much you care.

You havent seen the many ruin posts have you? Or the ones demanding nerfs for killers that honestly dont need it. Maybe if you survivors could hit through ruin we wouldnt have a ruin post every week.

No but there are threads about killers who dont need nerfed (ghostface) and the occasional camper killer thread. Its a tactic people get over it its not getting fixed.

There are also countless survivor OP threads every week, DS OP threads probably every few days. I have seen people saying great skill checks are OP. Both sides complain equally here.

Its honestly dumb because most things can be avoided. Ds just down the survivor and wait for ds to run out then pick them up and hook them. Ruin hit through it and i havent seen the thread about great skill checks.

Everyone who joins the forums have the right to voice their opinions and concerns. Just because a post is killer sided or survivor sided doesn’t mean it does not belong here. Does it get annoying to see a survivor complain about perk that can be countered yes. Does it get depressing to be killer shamed or perk shamed by both killers and survivors of course.
but they ALL have the right to make those posts and discussions

killers will always cry no matter how small the change is.
its getting really boring, and honstly they need to grow up, instaed of blaming the devs for everything bad
for me the only problem for killers is Gen Rush other than that they can fully enjoy the game
but for survivor, if killer tunnel you gg your fun is ruined!
killers should stop thinking 4k is the only way for fun and win
but i know the whining wont stop what so ever

People in general blow stuff way out of proportion. There's honestly this crazy negativity "culture" where people see a change and instantly start freaking out that it's just the tip of the iceberg, combine that with people completely embracing their own negativity bias with no self-awareness whatsoever ("I ONLY go against 4man death squads!", "EVERY killer I go against tunnels with a mori!" and so on) and you have a recipe for pure garbage.
I'm by no means going to deny the OP is needlessly divisive and contributes to the pointless us vs them garbage, but there's no need for the whole "You disagree with me? You must be one of "Them"!" mindset. Killers and survivors alike aren't a homogeneous hivemind.

You sound like someone who didn't see several threads asking to nerf bbq. Or remove the double points entirely from it. Or to make bps only work for the survivors. Or to nerf noed. And so on...
All sides complain here. And there's crybabies on both sides.

Yup they have the right to discuss their options which are mainly complaining about others opinions so therefore I have a right to discuss my opinion and complain about them :)

Eh I'm mainly just asking for everyone to stop complaining in a little rant. I think it's better for the forums to make actual proper suggestions rather than the same recycled mess. I know that all killer mains aren't the same but they truely do seem like a hive mind on here.

I hope everyone remembers all those "I'm quitting this game" killer's rants only because friend list was announced. They saw this little QoF change as an ultimate survivor buff that will grant swf win every match.

A very scrub tactic, if you unironically facecamp or proxy you aren't a good killer by any means.
it's a "tactic" but its a very bad tactic that

- Wastes your time
- makes you de-pip and gain no bloodpoints

Then you haven't been here that long.... all NOED posts, Billy threads, being able to get get hit when you're too close to the fences.... its bloody annoying how many threads can pop up at once..... just here recently there was a thread complaining about insidious, one of the worse perks in the game that can be used to viability only by LF... and that's a meme honestly..

Because you havn't played the game enough yet to understand the games balance issues. That's why the killer complaints seem confusing to you.

This is getting too common now. People always only see the one side, never both. I'm really not sure though how you manage to only see threads about killer mains whining. Both sides have many people who whine about buffs and nerfs. Of course, when a killer gets nerfed, you'll mainly only see killer mains complaining. Do I really need to explain the reason for that? I really hope I don't. When survivor gets nerfed, there are just as many complains. Maybe take a look at the ptb Feedback section, there are a lot of people complaining about the Balanced Landing changes.
No doubt that people sometimes just complain immediately without trying to understand why the nerf they are complaining about might have happened, jumping to conclusions too early and make a drama out of nothing. But this is a forum, and people are allowed to voice their opinion. And there are enough people who don't just complain without any reason.

There haven't been many post about the Spirit changes since it was announced. You had a few hours of people talking about it but then went away fairly quickly. The major factor was the Devs didn't overstep in their changes and the changes they did make are hard to dispute.

The OP sounds like a Survivor main pretending to be 50/50.
Every Killer nerf is needed! I NEVER see salty Survivors because we're..I mean, them..they (I'm 50/50. Totally) THEY are all little angels who only ask for reasonable things! ..Did I mention I'm totally 50/50 and I think Killer nerfs are needed? You can trust me, a 50/50 player, to be not biased, because I'm a 50/50 player.

2.4 k hrs , playing both roles , and I think killers exaggerate a lot about how powerful survivors are .

That's pretty odd then as most anyone that plays both sides at rank 1 with lots of hours would disagree with you on that.
Survivor is by far the power role in this game and that shouldn't be the case in a 4v1.

Both sides complain pretty evenly from my observation. Most of the complaints are after a frustrating game. Which is understandable. Though I would argue if you look at where the game started to now. Killers have never been in a better spot.

On this forum people tend to think that every single rank 1 game goes like : killer chases 1st survivor for 3-5 min , said survivor does perfect loops around every single pallet on the map , and by that time all 5 gens are done . But in fact it's never like this unless killer is a potato . I could agree with that back in 2017-2016 (although we still managed to get 4k against 'optimal swf team') . But right now saying something like this is a biased bs

I disagree. I don't think the majority of people on here think like that at all.
There are a lot of potatoes at rank 1 but when you actually go against non potato survivors the games balance issues show. They want the game balanced against good survivors, not around assuming most survivors will play dumb.

No, they can't.
Unless you're playing a couple of the top tier killers that are actually viable you will lose an equally skilled match if the survivors aren't playing like potatoes or trolling.

I don't see how a pip in a system that is utterly flawed is considered as a win.
I rarely look at my pips, as a survivor if I double popped and didn't escape that's a loss to me. If I didn't pip at all and escaped, well I'd consider that a win.
I tend to find survivors are more fun when you outplay the killer but an unjust killer can bring a whole load of problems to the game that just make it really boring like tunneling.
If I get tunneled and die instantly that is maddening. If a survivor throughourly outplays me as killer and is toxic I can move onto another if it's taking to much time, it doesn't make the escape impossible... and either way I'm likely to get them in the end yknow

I may not have played for 1000s of hours but 390 hours has easily given me enough time to determine the systems bounds. Some killers are underpowered and I agree but the amount it's exaggerated by is ungodly and my main point is that killers mains act on this forum act like they don't cry but they do it all the time (not all of them ofc but the ones that decide to voice their opinions tend to)
