More Secret Killer Offerings Requested
The amount of DC's I've witnessed just because I used a Shroud of Separation is ridiculous. I once had all four DC the instant I found one of them.
If other killer offerings were made secret (like the split coin or the rotting wood) or make new offerings that are secret, then people would be less likely to DC/kill self on hook just because they see a secret offering.

I find the killer shroud almost like a mindgame they think its a mori and are just waiting for me to stadt offing them.

no you cant... you only need to go down twice before you die. whereas normally its 3 downs.
Nerf moris and people will stop DCing

The solution to this problem is to nerf Moris to the ground. They are ridiculously op and need a heavy nerf.
Just have them work on a survivor who is on their death hook, this way you only equip Moris to have a fancy kill animation. Offerings shouldn't ever give you such a huge advantage in a match.

Any secret offering would just be viewed as bad or unfun to play against so they will still DC.
Really, secret offerings need to be secret and never pop up during the offering screen.

Yes, I assure you, you can. I have done it many times and I have SEEN it done.
You want to get rid of Mori's? Fine, get rid of anything that makes objectives easier.
Oh and people will not stop DC'ing. People still DC against Legion despite the fact they got gutted in their "rework."

is your counter to moris "dont get caught twice"? beacuse that isnt a counter. Thats like syaing in a shooter, my gun does twice as much damage compares to you, but just dont get shot and you just countered my OP gun

Why use shroud of separation?

If the killer wants to mori you off hook especially early on the game, no you can't.

It's called outplaying your opponent.
If you are better than them, you are better then them. If they cannot down you, they cannot mori you.

Loop them. Waste their time, they'll either tunnel vision on you and get gen rushed or they will give up and find someone else, sacrificing pressure and time.
Win win.

"My gun does twice as much damage as yours but if you just dont get shot, i cant kill you, therefore my gun isnt overpowered."

Unless what happened to me early today happens a survivor unhooked me right infront of the killer and he instasmacked and morid me. This is why i made the thread to give survivors the option to deny the unhook.

Dont worry the dc punishments should fix that.

Except there are no long range Moris.

"My sword does twice as much damage as your sword but just dont get hit. therefore my sword isnt op"

That sounds like more of a problem with the other survivor, not the killer. This expectation from survivors that killers are going to ignore people that unhook others in front of their face needs to go away.
I guarantee survivors would never make a concession to a killer making a mistake. I get it it's annoying when someone pulls you off a hook in front of the killer, but that's on the other survivor.

Which is why denying the unhook would be so good you wanna unhook me in a bad way nope i deny it and now your screwed have fun with the killer i aint getting unhooked and instadowned.

I'd be fine if all offerings are secret. I mean if you're on a SWF, you will likely tell them, but otherwise you will get the surprise in game or after game with all those unexpected bloodpoints.
And hide survivor items from the killer while you're at it giving them easy lobby dodges or a killer switchout to Plague if they see too many medkits.

There are plenty of games that have weapons with differing amounts of damage. Are you also arguing the game should get rid of Bubba, Billy, Myers, and every perk that causes exposed status? Those all make hits do twice the damage as regular hits. I'm assuming these will be the next things that must be needed after Moris.

Got it. I misunderstood at first. Not a bad idea actually. But I'm now imagining the outrage if survivors suddenly are able to deny other survivors' WGLF stacks. Lol

You mean were gonna farm forever?

You mean were gonna farm forever? Accidently didnt do the thing.

No because those instadowns require something out of the player to use, whether the skill, or requiring time to build up.
Moris however do not require any more skill out of the killer. it just makes them better.
Like if we both had swords that had identical stats, but your sword just did double damage for whatever reason. If TF2 made a new gun and all it said was you deal 200% damage but had no downsides, people would be quite upset.

But Moris have requirements. You have to hook a survivor. I get it, you don't think taking away a hook state is fair but it happens even outside if Moris. Sometimes survivors try to escape or can't get rescued quickly enough and go into second hook state. Moris are not the only circumstances that can deny a hook state.
Also, I've had survivors escape even when I've brought a Mori. They are not this unstoppable force everyone claims them to be. Remember, the devs look at statistics. I guarantee you if every match with a Mori ended in a 4k then they would get the nerf people beg for. The fact that it hasn't been nerfed in spite of constant complaints from survivors makes me believe they aren't the guaranteed match breaker that everyone claims them to be.

But then, that isn't the Killers fault, is it?

i said in a previous post it isnt.
