Going to move on. Hopefully DC issue will resolve
I think its time to move on from the game. Does not mean I'll never come back. I still like the game but it has become too frivolous for players to take it seriously enough to stay in a match and actually try their hand at chance when things don't go their way. I played throughout the entire day, off and on and I counted 8 Disconnects. Most were not even killer related. Just one was tunneled by the killer. They rest were people that got found first and quit cause of that. Its so silly that there aren't more strict punishments for DC'ing. They were a mix of Green, Purple, & Red rank. Not that it matters much.
Also In-game there is nothing in place when someone DCs and 5 gens haven't even been touched. Because I absolutely don't mind trying to maybe get through the game despite one persons stupid decision. Would make sense if the game turns the requirement for Generators to be completed down to 4 instead of 5. In the old days when a player was Disconnected during loading into the map it accounted for that and let the game continue with one less Gen because of one less person so its nothing new to the game. Just an idea but to be fair to the Killer all Gen progress is reset and the require Gens is reduced to one less. Also the Entity can maybe capture one Gen at random the remainder of the game.
Some games the Killer will work with the Survivors if one Survivor DC's but that is rare because the Killer has the most to lose so basically either the Killer loses Pips and BP by being nice because someone DC'd or Survivors attempt to do 5 Gens after the tables have turned and one less person cause of the DC.
If there are rules or punishments in place for DC'ing they aren't enough cause its still rampant. DC player should get 1-2 hours to go cool off and suspend the ability to play until the time expires.

If you're playing on Live on PC or on console right now there is no DC ban system. The new patch on PTB introduces a basic system though, so if you can wait for the next patch your DC issues are likely to be way less of a problem once the new system is on the live versions.

I might just wait until it becomes official then. No point in trying to rank up right now its pretty much like paddling up stream at this point. I even bought the rift pass so it kinda disappointing.
