Can somebody explain me why dead by daylight is using EasyAntiCheat? here's a screenshot from the tos of easyanticheat from steam.

Its a placeholder anti cheat i remember a long time ago on a dev stream they said they wanted to make their own anti cheat but i dont know if that ever went anywhere or if it got scrapped but the last time they spoke on it Easy Anti Cheat was just there until they designed a new Anti Cheat.
