should sloppy butcher be nerfed or almost every single mangled add on be buffed
as of right now sloppy butcher is way better then every single mangled add on
and hemorrhage add-ons are a literal in joke by the staff i bet
so should we buff (almost) every single on of these add-ons or nerf sloppy for being way better then all of them?

Sloppy Butcher is pretty mediocre, so I don't think it should be nerfed. But idk how you could buff the Mangled add-ons, except giving them duration untill healed on all of them.

Idk, i like putting on "Blind Warrior" - White so i have a free Perk slot.
Then again, i can put on Sloppy Butcher to free an Add-on slot.
I guess those two are 50/50 on that.
Current "Z" Block is still current "Z" Block though. 🤣
In general, Haemorrhage & Blindness need some changes, too underused.
Maybe Hindered too, idk.

In what way is Sloppy butcher better than every single mangled addon? The perk's main purpose is just to apply the mangled status effect, which is the exact same as the addons do. The difference here is that sloppy butcher only applys it to basic hits, while the addons apply it to only hits with your ability. A Huntress is more likely to get value out of an addon which applys mangled from a hatchet hit than being forced to M1 someone to apply that mangled.

On paper, yes. In practice, it doesnt really matter. If I down someone with Billys saw and apply mangled on them before hooking them, their teammates are still likely to retrieve them off the hook before 60 seconds pass and they go into the next phase...and heal them up soon after. Unless the team is planning on just not healing up at all, theyre likely to try healing after an unhook.

I was saying it doesnt really matter, because its likely to equally affect healing speeds even WITH the time limit. Even if they made the addons have no time limit like sloppy butcher, their actual affect on the game would likely not change.

I have a question about basic hits. If you hit a survivor after you've shocked them is that a basic attack? If you hit a survivor directly out of cloak is that a basic attack?

Blindness simply must be permanent, or at least 120 seconds. Clowns add on is so bad, but exhaustion is borderline awful to face.
Mangled is really bad lol

Personally I would buff addons. Whenever I'm affected by them I don't even notice because by the time I'm in a good spot/moment to heal the effect vanished already.

Good to see this topic being discussed, as it's been bothering me for a while.
I'm not sure "nerf" is the word I'd use to describe Sloppy Butcher because it is certainly not OP. I'd say more the option would be to re-work it so it no longer invalidates almost every Mangled add-on.
Buffing the add-ons is also an option, as I find it dumb that add-ons end up providing more restrictions for a weaker pay-off than a perk that does something similar.
I'm not sure which one I would go with, personally, but I'd really want to see one of the above happen.
