I can't wait to hook 15 players in basement and grab 6 survivors as killer :) Or unhook 2 survivors after the endgame collapse has begun :) Thank you devs for these beautiful challenges.

The first two you mentioned are easy, just run iron grasp and agitation. For the second one just got on the survivor's but until they vault a window.
The EGC one though... is that in the same trial or can that be done separately? If it's in the same trial good luck getting that one. Impossible.

I'm looking forward to getting two flashlight saves during end game collapse in a single match 😂
For real though the flashlight challenges are cancer. I feel like every killer brings lightborne and Franklin's when they see a flashlight. I've had killers say they did it just to stop survivors getting challenges...

if the leaked challenges are the ones that will be in the Tome tomorrow I will only focus on those ones that can be done other multiple games, I won't stress over trying to get multiple basement hooks or flashlight saves in a single trial.

Wait, I don't understand, would people rather not have challenges to do? I love the rift / tomes and don't want them to be any easier.
Some people might not like that the challenges cause players to deviate from playing the game normally, but if people were a little more introspective, they would learn from their mistakes. Assuming this is what frustrates people about challenges.

I think the main problem is, is that sometimes it can come down to RNG and not necessarily the skill of the player involved. Need to heal someone? Watch everyone bring in self care and medkit, need to unhook people? Others get the unhook before you, basement hooks? You down a survivor the opposite side of the map.
Now challenges are not impossible, but if you need to flashlight save TWICE in a single match, as soon as you do it once, the killer is going to make sure that no one else is around or look towards a wall when picking up another survivor.

It happened to me as well, on your phone make sure at the top in the settings switch it to desktop site. It should work then.

Looking over the leaked challenges, I'm actually impressed with how the difficulty won't be insane. This should be fun!

I think Level 3 has three weeks to get it done. Should be fine with the increased difficulty.

Guess there will be 1 less challenge saved from tome 2 for the release of oni and yui then.
Let's see how many from tome 3 I can avoid getting the reward.
There's no time restrictions on the tomes. Only on the rift.

tome 2 was fun, I finished it just yesterday without trying too hard for it - from the previous leaks I don't like some of tome 3 challenges like Sacrifice/Unhook 2 survivors during EGC in one single trial, but we'll see...

Yes but the challenges in 3 and 4 were placeholders and subject to change. The devs said that they wanted to see how the community dealth with 1 and 2 to decide whether to change things, and that most likely the tome levels wont be the exact same by the time they are released as when they were first leaked (when the rift started)

Also you just have to face the fact that you won't get every challenge on your first attempt. There's nothing wrong with needing to take multiple attempts at the single match challenges, as long as they don't take more than 10 attempts.

I have some suggestions for grab challenges, prayer beads bracelet spirit, use Clown and force medium vaults, or play doc and face camp in treatment mode.

The problem with outrageous challenges is that we've been asking for lore for years, and the only way to get tiny increments is to complete these insane "do it all in the same trial, good luck!" nightmares that cause you to either hinder your team or otherwise become a disadvantage.
Three complete gens? In one trial, vs. three other gen-hungry people?
Two full heals using medkit? I have to stack top-tier kits and perks just to attempt this, and if I die I have to find another kit somehow. I haven't bothered checking all the killer goals, I can't imagine what a nightmare that's going to be.
I think having challenges is great, but some are more aggravating than they need to be, especially considering you don't have access to all challenges simultaneously. You could be working to progress multiple at a time, then when you've done say 8-10/20 challenges, you unlock the next tier.

There are still people complaining about the Dark Sense-Challenge? Where you only have to be sitting on the Gen when it is completed and dont need to do 3 complete Gens on their own? Wow.

That doesn't need to be on a single medkit. Just look in a chest. Also "find another kit somehow." What? You don't have more than one brown medkit sitting in your inventory? You make it sound like finding a medkit is rare.
Also, I can get two full heals off of a yellow medkit with Botany Knowldge and the brown charges addon. It doesnt need to be top tier anything.

Exactly. Got it in my first game.
It would be too much anyway if you would need to complete 3 Gens on your own, meaing you have to sit 240 seconds on Gens, completely alone. And once someone just sits on it for 2 seconds, you cannot complete your challenge with this Gen... Surely this is not how it is meant to be.

It has to be done in the same match. Also, for the Dark Senses challenge, I thought it was full completion, not just at finish. I've completed the challenge, and am working toward unhooks at the moment.

For real I question the skills of some of the people I see complaining about these who are also posting balance threads.
Finish 4 gens and the endgame collapse one are bullshit but basement hooks, flashlight saves, egc escapes are all pretty common.

Theres a second one in tome 4 that requires 4 gens. Its confirmed you only have to be on the gen when it reaches 100% but you would basically have to not be chased at all the whole game and hope your team are god tier loopers with a phobia of gens.

I got one a week or so back but it was one of the most stressful solo games I'd had in a while. Its rare to get teammates that dense that dont dc. Needless to say I got hooked and left by a hatch camping Tapp. What a cop.
