The new kindred is about to be the freckin bestttt (not literally) but ya know... I’m excited.

The change is decent, but I liked having a perk that helped out the rest of the team (or the entire team, like Ace's Aura Range perk). I'll definitely use the new version since it will go great with a support build, but I'll miss the others getting sudden info when my bacon is on the line =D

Solos need kindred basekit and I would be more excited about that. New kindred is "meh" nice to have but doesn't solve the problem solos have and I doubt it's going to establish it's place in the meta pool.

I wish that killer aura wasn't on a 24 meter cap although it's probably there so you cant see a killer for like 30 meters lol

It shouldn't... since undetectable blocks aura reading so it should block new kindred

kindred isn't even that threatning of a perk it should work against undetectable

Yeah well now that it’s 16 meters at base it will be more difficult on the killer if all survivors run open handed. The perk is now meant to be like a reverse bbq and aftercare if someone is hooked

It still has its old effect but now you can see other people's auras when someone else is on the hook. It's basically old Kindred but better.

As a solo player i whole heartedly approve of this perk change. Being able to know where everyone is and if anyone is going for the save. If killer is camping. Not having to rely on a random player running a perk to give me this information. This will probably be in every build except maybe meme builds for the foreseeable future

Yeee I've always wanted that for solos ever since they mentioned it.
Game's a lot harder to balance when solos + SWF have completely different levels of information.

Perhaps, but it leaves the other non-Kindred teammates running around (or not) like chickens because they don't know if anyone's going for the save. I honestly think they should make current Kindred 3 basekit for all players, but that's just me.

Yeah I get that but now if they're running around like headless chickens you know that you have to make the save. This will be a powerful perk for solos.
