Using a Survivor to bait a Blendette
So, I had a match were I got aggravated at a Blendette for bodyblocking a hook. Since it was only her and another left, I allowed the other to work on the final gen and even let her open the gate. Along comes the Blendmaster ready to leave, not realizing i have Noed active. I let the other leave and down and hook Blendy.
Would doing something like that be against the rules? I know it was underhanded, but bodyblockers, flashlight clickers, and sweaty loopers must die. I won't do it again if it could get me in trouble though.

It's not extremely clear. The developers have said in the past that they disapprove of farming but won't ban for it. On the other hand, working with the killer as a survivor is a bannable offence, but I'm pretty sure that just means intentionally leading the killer to your teammates to get them killed.
My view would be that it is your prerogative as a killer to have mercy, or not, on whichever survivors you please. It's up to you who, if anyone, you want to kill or let go.
But since the official position on the topic is somewhat unclear, if a dev comes along and disagrees with me, go with whatever they say instead.

Thanks for the response. The survivor I showed mercy to had no idea she was bait. I actually kind of feel bad to what I did to Blendy, but I was just so aggravated with her, and the prior swf team I faced and took it out on her.
I'll just make sure to use tactics like this with more sweaty people.

As somebody who has given mercy to survivors I have definitely gotten a couple of people accuse me of doing something bannable.
As I've always told them as long as I'm not teaming with this survivor to actively kill the team I'm going up against I'm not doing anything that's ban worthy.
Typically I'll even give them hatch or let them get the Left for Dead achievement if they haven't already got it because that achievements a pain in the ass.
Hell if the match went by quickly enough and it was complete domination I might just farm up some points with them because I definitely know they didn't make many points and I didn't make many points because the match ended so quickly.

Thats similar to my play style I usually let the last two go if I feel that I tunneled too much, or if their team was just a bunch of potatoes.
