Mundane feedback to BHVR, from another DBD end user
BHVR, thanks for this fun game. If this game isn't the standard in Hide and Go Seek video games, it's pretty darn close. Haven't been reading much on forums in the last week or two, so apologies if I'm echoing already standing sentiments, or other provocations.
Here is a condensed list of my suggestions and feedback that will not fail your margins and lines.
1: Stop overly utilizing the community for any major game/operational decisions.
2: Balance all the base kits in a wide sweep, before (re)working through perk balance. See #1.
3: Dedicated Servers should not interact like P2P. See #1.
4: Finish the polish before adding more content. Some of the wheels are still squeaky and in need of grease, some wheels maintain their long standing atrophic screeches, and these need to be removed and/or replaced.
5: Road maps have become formulaic; plan some content not related to Killer, Survivors, or upcoming maps. For example, new environmental mechanics or objects found within new or old map tiles (see #1), other critters to compliment the birds and that 1 demon horse, additional/refreshed grunts/voice work, etc.
6: Stats are sensitive, but please: full refrain or full release of any data. It is not obligatory for BHVR to provide any data for any EU's, but it is certainly not fun when only selections of data is demonstrated as points of inference/evidence.
7: Cross-platform Play should include PC vs Console.
Hope to see more of that horror innovation from DBD in 2020. Thanks, again.
PS: Don't Overwatch 2 yourselves. Or is the verb Blizzard? Don't Blizzard yourselves.

Totally agree with 5 but 7 might be more difficult since I believe there is a FPS issue but it obviously can be done.
I would say remove dedicated servers or finesse them which I believe is being done.
I've been in games where 1 to 2 survivors were kicked but their icons were normal. I've been hit through windows where it shouldn't have hit, I've also hit people where it shouldn't have hit. I've pallet stunned killers where it shouldn't have hit etc etc.
More doctor skins. Maybe a ghostface skin where the mask isn't just a recolored or slightly altered variation of the original. Yeah I know that's the point but if nurse can have hair and most of her face showing then ghostface can have a different mask; still looks like the original but expression is different.
There are the rats in the hawkins lab but I agree more animals. Maybe squirrels or something but then squirrels are cute...so maybe spiders but then some people spiders are cute...

Crossplay PC vs Console will cause Console players to stop playing. PC has a huge advantage, so Console playsets will feel frustrated cause they'll just feel bullied by PC players. It should NEVER happen

What do you have to evidence, or infer, for such a statement like that? Where in video gaming history has there been strong, meaningful examples of such an event? I also think that it is outlandish to assume that console players don't have any advantages on a controller.
Not only do consoles predominantly play survivor, but they utilize 360 degrees of movement control in a 3rd person setting, which is demonstrably superior than a standard keyboard WASD setup in the same setting (in respect to Survivor gameplay.) Add the industry-driven social connectivity that consoles boast over PC players, and you have a very strong, very toxic, very adequate SWF player base that plays hard and fast.
Yes PC players can SWF, too. But my experiences taught me that Killer queues are stupidly longer than survivor these days on PC. It's why I play survivor any more. In recent experiences, I found out Survivor queues are stupidly long on consoles. It might sound like math, but it adds up. PC vs Console is a naturally adaptive process in the human endeavor to advance gaming and their social technologies.
I refuse your initial response, Mr/s Kitten. I ask you now for a new response, one that is a comprehensive argument that confronts why PC vs Console is anything but intuitive.

All they need to do is tweak sensitivity and frame rate for console and we should be the same. It's very possible, it's just do they want to spend the time and money doing it?. Also you CAN attach a keyboard and mouse to consoles too if that's your thing. I verse people on PC in rocket league all the time. There's no difference except hackers, and there gonna cheat no matter what.

I shouldn't need to spend money on a keyboard, it should be playable with a controller. Pc sensitivity is nowhere close to console, even when maxed

Framerate. Sentitivity, console optimization is far less than pc, that's just a fact. Until console gets optimized to play like pc, no console player will want to play against people who have a full-on advantage. That's not even getting into latency issues since they're far worse on console

I played on Xbox a few weeks ago. Didn't seem bad to me at all, frame rate was solid on my buddy's curved display. Not sure I see your point, kitten. The optimizations are always helpful, but the game works out of the box. You make it sound like an incomplete product, which in my experience did not appear to be so.
