Watch that for a good 20, 30 seconds or so.
Camping is part of the game. It is an allowed and encouraged strategy. There are multiple perks, addons, etc, that are specifically there to enable camping. Yes, it sucks to be the first person on the hook, and then to be camped. It happens. Try to not be found in the first place, that will help. Take perks that give you information about where the killer is, like spine chill, etc.
If you're being camped, survive on the hook as long as you can. Even on the hook, you are giving value to your team. You're taking up the killer's time. There are 3 survivors other than you. The hook takes 120 seconds for you to be fully sacrificed. One survivor doing a generator alone takes 80 seconds to complete. That means in the time it takes for you to die, they can theoretically get 4.5 generators done, not even counting how long it took to chase you down.
If your teammate is on the hook, and you suspect they are camping, do generators. Leaving them to hang is the counter strategy to camping. If you, or anyone else, goes to a camped survivor? You're literally playing into the killer's hands.

You are not entitled to be saved. If a Killer is camping then you or your team should gen rush and end the game. The Killer is looking for Survivors to hook dive and make his job easier. I understand it sucks but if I run into a toxic Survivor and camp him, if his friends drop the gens just to try and save it makes my game an easy 4k 9 times out of 10.

Its not really fair for survivors when the killer just sits by the hook and waits for u to die. Getting over it fairly quick have already broken a controller because no matter the lobby or the killer, they just post in a corner or far enough away to where that another survivor gets close or even starts to get me off hook they get chased and/or killed or if they manage to get me off hook i go right back up cause im one hit. I suggest a penalty for the killer or he gets teleported after hookin a survivor so they cant have the chance to babysit, or even the killer loses if he waits to long around said hook! Please tell me im not the only one getting over (excuse my language) pussy ass killers? You should probably switch the game if you cant control your rage.
If you dont wanna do that, try to rank up as killer and you will understand the game, but you will also break several controlers in that progressNot all killers have a pussy and an ass btw

On top of the waiting to ambush other survivors, they even said that the killer has Tunnel Vision, to focus on objectives in First Person

Dude, I just started playing this game a few days ago and let me say, who the hell cares? I actually only played as a killer once and thought it was fun but find it to be better as a survivor. Its more challenging and if you get caught guess what? O well, if you get saved then great but in no way do other survivors have to help you from being sacrificed. Its part of the game. I played a game the other day where one survivor did absolutely nothing. You're probably the same type of player who gets on call of duty and complains your team mates suck because they won't revive you when youre downed but youre probably getting downed every 5 seconds. Get over it. Lol2

Yes i did. Considering 9/10 times randoms that play survivor dont stick together at all. Only time I dont have team work issues is when I play with my friends. I could care less if its difficult to play as a killer. Ive done it before and yes its difficult but I LIKE to have to listen for the heartbeat of a killer and trying to repair generators and running away from a chase. Its FUN. I think if people complained less and actually had fun playing the game it wouldnt be such a problem. IMO I find it more challenging, but I havent played as the killer much so its just my opinion.0

After about 50-100 hours it's not challenging at all.1 -
Tunneling and camping isn't fun or inspired gameplay. It's boring and easy. It sucks for the person on the other end, too, especially if they get caught right away. I will say it does creates some hilarious situations, though, like when someone downed two of my allies (one with no mither) just to chase after me still lmao.

Saying that camping is encouraged sounds like someone who never plays as as survivor or doesn’t have confidence in their ability to get more than on person. Now that the game is free on ps4 with so many new players, camping is gonna be a real problem. If killers don’t stop camping then new players aren’t gonna have any fun and quit playing. Less players means the developers will make less money and have no reason continue support of the game. I really enjoyed this game the last few months I’ve been playing and only run into a few campers but now it seem every other game the killer just stands in front of the hook. If you love this game, don’t camp. Try to make it fun for everybody.

Camping exist you need to get over it. Does is suck when you're on the receiving end? Absolutely, but others have told you how to counter it. Camping is a terrible strategy if you recognize and play around it. But if being camped is making you so unhappy give up on the hook and move to the next game.0

I definitely agree it needs a penalty and anyone who doesn't think so doesn't play much as a survivor because that's what's been happening a lot recently. It is disabling someone to actually play the game and it isn't fun at all. I can play as a killer and kill all the survivors without babysitting a single time. It's also funny to the ones who say "don't get caught" when there are so many killer perks that show your location anyway...

Heads up, last post was made over a year ago. Forum etiquette is to leave a dead topic be, not to revive it.
