Are the Switch players screwed out of BBQ&Chili?
Leatherface DLC is not in the game so the only way to get it is through the shrine (its not a base kit perk). Good news is the shrine had the perk recently when the game got its recent update. Bad news is the Switch's update was postponed so Switch didnt get the chance to get the perk. And now that the update was released the shrine wasnt updated like how it was for the other platforms. @Peanits
So are Switch players screwed out of the chance for BBQ&Chili? The bloodpoint boost would be great since everyone is starting out new and its a real grind.

This is probably a licensing issue if I had to guess. I'd imagine they're trying to get him on the switch and if for whatever reason they can't, they might just release the perks for everyone, like how it was for Bill on ps4 for a while.

I just want it for the BP boost since im starting from scratch and the grind is insane. I was assuming we would get the updated shrine w/BBQ like the other platforms with the patch but nope. At this point it would just be nice to know from a dev we got screwed out of BBQ so i can move on.

I probably wouldn't even use it TBH lol. I main Legion and do fine without it. The BP would be nice though

Yeah multiple posts were made by me about BBQ but I got no response from any devs. I guess they just ignored it so we can buy it later. 😔

Then you saw wrong, i tier 3'd all general/personal perks on my Spirit and the next level had no perks. Unless Leatherface perks have a hidden condition of only appearing on certain killers/levels its not a basekit perk.
Only way to get BBQ was via shrine which the other platforms got when the patch was released. Switch's patch was delayed yet with the patch now out the shrine was not updated. I wouldnt mind it but the BP boost from BBQ would be great since everyone is starting from 0. I just wanna know whats going on @Peanits

It's basically just really technical. To keep it simple, there's a "calendar" that says what perks are in the shrine when, and it's randomly generated. So for example, "This week it's W, X, Y, and Z. Next week it's A, B, C, and D."
When 3.3.0 launched on PC and the other consoles, that calendar needed to update to match the Archives (certain perks needed to be in the shrine for challenges). The update wasn't on Switch, though, so the Switch version was still using the old calendar. Now that the update is out on the Switch, they should be back in sync, but that shrine is over.

The data for the perk is in the game but the DLC that contains it is not (due to copyright issues). Only way to get it currently is through the shrine but the only time it was on the shrine no one on the Switch could buy it due to complications.
It seems us Switch players are the neglected step child since the devs just shrugged and moved on. To answer the question, yes Switch players got screwed out of BBQ.
