Question to BHVR about Event Cosmetics.
Will event cosmetics be able to be earned again during future events?

It's not impossible, but if they were going to confirm one way or the other I suspect they would have already done so, so for now the best we have to go on is "probably not". For two reasons:
1) They said before that events for the forseeable future will be mainly bloodpoint-based with themed cosmetics available through the Rift. Although it's possible that they might put previous event cosmetics in the Rift, they seem to be leaning more towards original outfits.
2) The way they worded their statement in the Release Info - "As it was mentioned by many players, these cosmetics were earned during events and were representative of the player's dedication to the game" - makes it sound like they want these cosmetics to remain exclusive to those events for the sake of the players who put the work into earning them at the time.
Of course, if a dev wants to come along and tell me I'm wrong, they're more than welcome to do so.

Well hopefully they see this as I just want an answer, one way or another. Don’t want to keep my hopes up just to get them crushed again.

Uhm, console players did in fact have a chance to earn all four of the event cosmetics in question.
DBD was out on console when the Howling Grounds event began. I should know, because I played through said event ON CONSOLE.
It IS a bit disturbing BHVR 180s on their decision because some people were very vocal about keeping their 'special cosmetics', but you can't say that there was "no chance" to earn the event cosmetics.
