Any chance they'll update Steve's voice?
I was kinda hoping they'd do that after the first initial PTB for the Stranger Things chapter, but they just reworked his audio. I dunno. His voice doesn't sound that bad when he gets hit, but when he's running and stuff? It sounds like he's injured. Plus, his hook scream is literally just "aaaaaa."

I wish. I have always felt that Steve's voice sounds pretty half-assed, especially the hook scream and the scream when he goes down. I can't help but make fun of it every time I play him.

Yeah, for sure. Just really doesn't bind well with him, in my opinion. Especially when he gets hooked. The monotone aaaaa makes the game feel super cheap. Hope these guys update it at some point.

If enough people ask for it than they'll probably give it another re-cast.
A fair bit of players have already pointed out how much they dislike his screams and voice acting when running or being hooked... so it might catch on, maybe?
I've never heard of a re-do for a voice actor before though, so what you hear is probably what you're going to get tbh.
I wouldn't mind the change, but this is most likely what we'll get.

I'm sure it wouldn't be a huge problem, if they can do it for her they can do it for Steve. It's just a matter of updating some game files. It just depends on whether the devs want to do it.

It really depends on the communities demand for it... otherwise they won't change it.
If people don't ask for it than there's no point in changing it. Clearly people have said they'd like a redo but it's ultimately up to BHVR and the voice actor.
And again, it's LIVE now so it's unlikely to happen at this time. It could, but it's unlikely.

Its possible they'll redo it... but it's just unlikely is all... considering it's LIVE now.
But who knows, we just got event exclusive skins... something nobody thought would happen... so anythings possible right?... I guess?...
