Console servers crashing?

This is a good thing.

Lots of people are interested in the game. Of course they are... it's free, but still a good thing. It will help drive sales in cosmetics etc...

I just hope they fix this soon. I can wait. It's fine.

    I've been having better luck at night getting into a game then in the morning. I think it's because all the kids are still out of school and their spamming the servers. After they go to bed it'll get better. I wish they hadn't made this game free for psplus.

    Yeah, I can play in the weird hours of the day. Right now, it is impossible. I get in to the game, but cant join matches because I get kicked out from the game and right back to the start screen as soon as I find a lobby. So we have to wait them out I guess, who needs sleep anyway?

    Somehow I came into the game, I am looking for a lobby for 20 minutes, as already found a no network connection message pops up. I tried to make the lobby a killer and the same. The situation becomes very funny that Bhvr is not prepared at all times.

    I think that what's happening is this may be the last summer event for kids before they have to go back to school, and because most kids play on console instead of owning a gaming PC the console version of the backend is getting hammered harder.

    I propose that the real cause of this problem is lack of oversight from parents when it comes to video games and their ratings. This game's rated M for Mature, no?

    True. But most games have those ratings, and kids will always play them. I know I would never have been allowed to play this growing up, but it is so different today.

    The game getting a new fresh influx of players isn't a bad thing. I'm sure they'll get it ironed out soon.

    Clearly the massive new player pool is causing problems. Hopefully by this evening or tomorrow they'll get it fixed.

    Devs need to take some of the money that they are making now and invest in better servers.. If they cant handle when the game is free for a month how on earth do the devs intend on growing their community

    I got in yesterday and never turned off my PS4 or closed the application. I’ve been trying today and I can’t get any Survivors or Killers. I’m Rank 1 on both Survivor and Killer. So I kind of call bullshit on the “servers are overloaded” excuse BHVR is saying. If they were overloaded, I wouldn’t be having a problem getting a match. Even after waiting 20-30 minutes searching I get nothing.

    The game doesnt even run properly when everything is normal. Making a game f2p on ps..... well.... im not surprised

    The other free game Mafia 3 is better then I thought and actually works

    We should get rewarded on some way, console players are losing time of the new event meanwhile PC players already have the new cosmetics and a lot of bloodpoints
