Green rank madness

Is it just me or playing in/with green ranks is just... an experience of its own to say the least? I feel like there's just nonsense going on with green rank survivors, both playing as killer and as survivor.

I know some will say "but red ranks are the worst, so toxic". Red ranks playing with red ranks will usually know what to expect at this point, you know how most people play and what tactics most use, etc. Playing with green ranks, you don't always know what you will get. When I play as a killer I always get a player just doing loud noise notification in the background, over and over while I'm chasing a survivor. You also get "immersive" survivors who try to hide behind a tree but will show half their body, so, the complete opposite.

Playing as a survivor is pretty much the same, you don't know if you will have a teammate chasing the killer trying to do a flashlight save or dying on the first hook because they are all too busy doing gens to care about the hooked survivor.

Playing with brown-yellows is not as insane because you know the playstile of a new/not-so-good player, you kinda know what to expect. But greens is always a mystery to me lmao

It's just... so weird.

Is it just me?

That long after rank reset you should expect that the yellow/brown ranks are ranked up to green already. Not all but many. Some people belong to red ranks but simply don't play enough anymore and some just derank to stay away from purple and red.

You can say this about any rank tbh.

My experience is that killers rule at green rank on PS4.

I don't think I escaped more than once last night. The quality of survivors isn't good at that rank. I don't know if its the rift or what making people do stupid things....

One thing common to most of my green rank games - someone always goes down very early. It sets the tone for the match and its very frustrating.

Yellow and Green ranks are the worst. They always have cocky players that think they're good but there worst then the killers and survivors are red ranks. Purples are the best rank to stay at imo

Yes, of course all the ranks have good and bad players, but there seems to be some sort of consistency at least. In red ranks you can expect good players (or plays) or some tryhards, yellow levels you can expect more killer camping and more immersive survivors.. green ranks are just all over the place because it's right in the middle.
