Survivors do still get punished for killers bad internet.
This is even approved from a friend of mine, he says he use his bad internet card which makes him lag in-game as a killer. Therefor the killer won't be updated for the 4 survivors. So the mapping for the killer is just "fine" but when there are literally 4 other humans who has to suffer because the killer can't pay his stupid internet.
Don't hit me with your toxic killer views. It's an obvious thing. A better thing would be if the killer got corrected by the 4 survivors not the other way around. It's 1 killer, one human. And there are 4 survivors, 4 human beings who has to suffer for this 1 humans bullshit.

The dedicated servers are still being worked on thats the point of the forum id send this to bugs so the devs can add it to one of the many things that need to be fixed. Also toxic killer views? Most of us are pretty nice. Dont try to start a survivor and killer thing.

This one can't be saved. The stereotype has already corrupted him

The Dead By Daylight community is pretty toxic due to the fact there are 2 sides and people decide to be on any of them. Literally starts argumentations and they hit people with toxic #########. I am willing to be nice if people are nice, if they are gonna complain back without any backing knowledge, then they can enjoy me calling them names behind their backs and be ignored af.

Dedicated servers do NOT fix latency issues related to a players connection. They compound it. Dedicated servers resolved players running the game as killer on a PC that is not powerful enough.
Their bad connections, are still bad and the latency is increased due to the killers connection now ALSO having to go through the dedicated server before it reaches the the other players.
The use of dedicated servers should have been used to supplement the players who were running on PC's below the specs, and still wanted to play killer. Players should have an option when they know their PC is crap.
Before dedicated, I knew when a killer was on a good PC and internet connection. Most games, were absolutely fine.
The need for dedicated servers for a 5 man game is laughable. It was a much better experience playing when connected directly to a killer with a good PC/internet.
Dedicated servers will never fix a killer with a ######### connection. Only if their hardware is inadequate. This is PC multiplayer gaming 101.

Toxic killers are pretty nice? I don't think that's what toxic means tbh.

Yea I agree with that, but it's more like you can't see if the killer you are up against has a massive delay. I still think you should be able to see their download/upload speed.

Jitter and terrible hardware are the biggest issues. Higher latency on a solid PC+connection was not unplayable. Pings up to 150-200 are fine and most wouldnt complain on the small delay. It's consistent and predictable and many players can account for it after just a small amount of online gaming experience.
A lobby with the killers latency graph including 10-20 seconds of jitter/latency history would have changed everything.
When a player attempted to flood their connection to cause lag, aka lag switch, if the proper GM response was taken, it would have also changed everything.
People who can see a killer has a jittery/laggy connection, simply would leave the lobby.
Once enough complaints were lodged against a player, a simple action like being banned from playing killer for x amount of time, would combat the lag switchers.
If you look at the cost of the dedicated servers, + the programming and support, I'm nearly certain the above 2 actions would have been both more appeasing to the player base, and cheaper on the wallet.

True. And the old lagswitch still works

What's laughable is that I have much better hit registration in a shooter with 100 people on the same map and this game struggles with registering single hits properly...
