Bad Days in Dead By Daylight

Personally Dead by Daylight has always been a game of your good days, your meh days, and you're bad days. Your bad days are as if your brain has forgotten how to play Dead By Daylight. It doesn't matter how good or bad the killer or survivor is, you'll make a stupid mistake that'll cost you the game.

Last night was one of one of my bad days. My overall control of my character (Survivor) was terrible and movement was all over the place, it was frustrating. I lost count the amount of times I got stuck on debris or my thumb slipped during mid 360. To add insult to injury a lot of the killers I was playing against, were players that I knew (from playing against frequently at rank 1). Normally I'm quite a good survivor.

Anyone else have those days in Dead by Daylight where you feel like you've turned into a rank 20, playing well below your normal level?

Sure, most of last night I played like a rank 20. Sometimes you just get derpy and can't pull out of it.

Oddly enough, I'm derpier when I'm SWF than I am solo.

2 days ago was me playing killer having a super frustrating and bad day. Constantly getting 3 escapes or just two (which is a draw so I didn't mind)

    Everyone has those days.

Some days every killer tunnels me out or camps me on the hook.

Some days I can't track survivors for [BAD WORD] as killer.

    Some days I whiff constantly.

I am rank 16 I played some swf with a rank 6 this morning and pipped up even, then I play in the lowbies and lost all my pips I had gained

Whether it is because at lowbie level they are all potatoes or simply players who dont care (two of them suicided on the first hook for example) but it made my game suffer.

In reply to the OP I have days where no matter what I do I make mistakes. I feel like I shouldnt be playing thats how bad it is.

Even on a good day I play better solo than I do in a SWF. I think it's because of SWF you're talking to your friends, often not talking about stuff game related. Whilst in solo you're mainly focusing on the game, which makes planning your chase route and other ingame decisions easier (for me anyway).

    That does make sense.

Yeah, I often get friend requests from the random survivors from a game where I've played well solo. The first thing I do is warn them that I'm not the same survivor (not as good) when I play SWF compared to when I play solo.

Happens to me all the time lol

I'll run into walls, mess up loops, miss hatchets etc.

Sometimes I'll just get tunneled/camped to death, that's always fun :l
