Green key is useless
Bro the key has NO effects without a addon, and you always will find it on chest sometimes.
Give it at least a weak effect like finding injured survivors and doors or gens.
Or spawn it on the chest with two addons already.
I think in a less used item tier list the green key will be the first by far, and it should have been buffed ages ago.

I think you are colorblind bro, no key gives wallhacks to the killer without addons, AND i was saying that the green key cant even do that and spawn in chests on the trial being useless all match.

Would be nice if the green key came with an addon when found via chest. Giving it an addon to see survivor auras wouldnt be game breaking, lol.

Actually if you drop a green key next to someone with another item they will be inclined to drop theirs to pick up the key. During this time you steal their item and run away laughing!

The only difference between "aura reading, wallhacks, true sight, etc" is the name. They all let you see through a wall or solid object so call it whatever you wish. You two are arguing the same thing.

Broken Key: press the secondary action while in a locker to lock yourself for 5 seconds. In that time the killer cannot pull you out. Consumes the key on use.

Do you consider Survivor perks like Alert or Object of Obsession to be ''wallhacks'' too?
Each of those have significant drawbacks/restrictions:
Nurse's calling: have to be close, and they have to be healing.
BBQ: only 4 seconds of auras, and has to be 40 m or more from you. They also only trigger from a hook.
Alert: See the killer when they break something.
Object: Has to be outside the TR and looking at the killer. They can also see you.
Keys only have 10 seconds (green and purple) and require addons to function. They need to have the right ones put on for the desired effect. Red keys can give 30 seconds. All within ranges specified on the addons.
Green keys don't naturally spawn in chests with the addons unless you have the Ace perk: Ace in the Hole. Even then it's random.

The difference is one is inferred to be a form of cheating that is unfair. Auras are not unfair.

Maybe in the past "wallhacks" was considered to be just that, a "hack" but the term has become as harmless as the other names I listed earlier, with "wallhacks" being used to describe any form of vision that penetrates objects.

It's the most broken item in the game. Why the Devs allow such an item to exists is beyond me.

They should really make sure green keys appear with at least one useful addon. (Maybe even lower the rate of finding other. Keys to make up for it eeeehhhhhh)

Unlike the Skeleton/Purple Key, The Broken Key is a tool for Information. That's what it was meant to be & they'll probably never change it.
