Ebony Mori 50% blood points for all survivors this trial

Just a thought with the Mori's like the ebony one at the very least; I feel they should give 50% increased blood points to all survivors in the trial and 50% increased bloodpoints for killer in the sacrifice category.

The idea is to add some kind of risk/reward to it for survivors instead of feeling like a punishment, and also to let them make some of the bloodpoints they are probably going to lose because of it back- all while providing the killer an option to not mori -every- time maybe they push it and try and hook a few a 2nd time, see how much they can get out of it by gambling their mori effect some.

From a story line view you would think the entity would want to reward them for not giving in to their desire to just outright kill their prey and deny it what it wants. Also at the same time, it isn't rewarding the killer for using a mori it's only rewarding them for the first hooks and playing like normal.

Two issues with this already come to mind about killer earning and balance with pip system; so obviously those are hurdles if anyone has a creative idea to solve those problems too I would love to hear it!

Yes, please do this. I've never considered this myself but it's such a good change.

How can you say no to more bloodpoints?

Oh someone will I am sure.

Devs seem really against blood point gains for some reason; despite the fact the game has been steadily growing more and more grindy. I think it's about time to throw in some more blood point gain stuff anyways.

This is a good idea and consider it for key too maybe so it could end the debate. Survivors could leave early or die early with the mori in play. I was thinking of a multiplier on certain emblems or all of them when either are brought in so that killers don’t suffer a black or depip to survivors leaving early and survivors wouldn’t have to complain about being murdered since on top of the extra blood points neither emblems would suffer unless you didn’t do anything for the game.

  • Ahh maybe, but I am trying to keep this just about the Mori's for now anyways.

Though I would say bringing emblem based things in to play might not be a great idea; it's very confusing to most players and a lot of folks ignore them because they are kinda dodgy anyways tbh. I think it would be best if it was kept to something simple that most folks will understand at initial glance; without throwing too many variables into the equation.

As long as keys give killers 50% extra bloodpoints for every survivor who escapes through the hatch. It's only fair.

  • I think keys will need to be treated differently than that, but they deserve something similar for sure.

I want to keep the topic of the mori's and the key's separate though.

Keeping off the topic of the keys then the Moris do need extra variables at least for emblem multipliers or something. If you catch someone early game and happen to down them getting unhooked you can mori them immediately and would cause someone to depip but not depipping due to skill. This goes for killer side too since I play both sides but rarely ever use mories since they will most likely end up being black pips or depip. It would help since both sides would now have incentives to use them.
