The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Fun times as Oni
Let the pictures speak for themselves. How am I supposed to control the gatekeeper emblem if the team finds the ruin 10 seconds into the game?

Could combine it with a gen-slow perk that's actually consistent. You always need to remember that bringing Ruin is 100% unreliable.

You can control gatekeeper without ruin. The fact that everyone relies on such an unreliable perk and then complains when it gets found immediately because they forget how unreliable it is... is quite sad. Even if your ruin stays up, there is a chance the survivor might be smart enough to do the gen with ruin still up. If you get a team who is potato unless they cleanse it, they're going to be actively looking for it.
Try getting more skill and maybe you won't need it or won't have to rely on it as much. I'm not trying to be rude here but it's just... I don't enjoy hearing killers complain about ruin when they know you shouldn't put 100% faith into the perk lasting most of the game. Ruin doesn't help you, skill does.

Even if ruin gets instantly destroyed, you can still pressure generators pretty reliably with a fast killer. You're playing oni, there's literally no excuse.

Oni has the weakest start of the game by far. THAT'S the excuse. He's at his weakest in the most important part of the entire game. If ruin goes down he's extra fricked. Now he is a killer with 0 pressure and 1 less perk. At the start he's literally a pressureless killer.

Ruin aside, that part is true. I've twice faced the strat of survivors playing very safe and using pallets early vs me as the Oni, trying to delay my initial hit as long as they can - and it's been extremely effective.
Not many teams have done it but it's easily been the strongest counter I've faced as him so far. Just delay Blood Fury as long as humanly possible.

Ok, well look at your build;
Ruin - A temporary perk that you KNOW can be removed 15 seconds in.
Nemesis - A chase perk that really doesn't do anything. They're already in a chase with you, being oblivious is REALLY not a bad debuff.
Rancor - Minor detection.
BBQ - Detection.
Nothing you have is particularly good for stalling except ruin. I really can't see how you'd get 0 gatekeeper though, but with the amount of chases and hits (and the fact that someone bled out) I'd guess you either did a lot of slugging while people did gens anyway, or many of the survivors died in 1-2 hooks. Gotta keep that pressure up and he can once you snowball with blood.
Edit: Oh jeez, I just realised the whole point of this build is to switch the obsession and rancor mori multiple people, and you're complaining that that doesn't defend gens well enough.

Don't run Ruin. Use a more consistent perk. I've been getting really good results with BBQ, PGTW, Infectious Fright, and Distressing. I like to use Blood Fury right after hooking someone and seeing where the survivors are working on gens, use Demon Dash to get there, and hit the gen with PGTW. From there I use Infectious Fright+Distressing and slug if I see someone with IF. If not, I cut my losses and pick them up to conserve Blood Fury for later and make sure I hook someone.

Ranking system is highly flawed

Continue using ruin but add PGTW into your build if you can, PGTW is the best perk for gatekeeper.
