Oblivious and blindness
I think most people will agree that blindness is a pretty bad status effect to give
It has it moments but usually it doesn't do anything
I thought it would make sense if we were to combine these status effects
So Oblivious causes you to not hear the terror radius and not see any aura's
And perk and addons that used to give blindness give oblivious instead
I personly find that killers without a terror radius really bring back the horror to this game so i feel that having more ways to remove it would be really excitting
What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree? Do you think it would be to strong? Discus! :D

Nobody has an opinion to this?

I think it would be better if hemorage would be reworked because it is by far the most useless effect.

They could combine hemorage and mangled too actually
It is indeed a bit weak on it's own

I think it would be too strong against solo survivors. Blindness does not do that much against swf, but against solos it already can be pretty strong. A combo with oblivious would be pretty bad for solo survivors imo.

As a solo survivor i find the matches against the killers with no terror radious the most thrilling, so i wouldn't actually mind having it more
Not permanently ofcourse, most blindness effects only last for 60 sec with the exeption of hex:third seal which can be cleansed
It will make those addons and perks more powerfull yes but more diversity is good right?

I just think that hiding the red stain should be incorporated into blindness. That gives it a tangible effect within chases on the MANY effects that cause brief blindness in chases where aura reading is 99% of the time, irrelevant.
As for haemmorhage, yes, it should just be deleted and be made a part of mangled.

What do you mean
Blindness is amazing, but needs buffs, its not weak
1 -
Like i said, it has it's moments but most of the time it doesn't really do anything
Also per definition something that needs buffs is on the weak side :P

No you can buff strong things
I.E Borrowed Time keeps getting buffed
I also got someone killed cause survivors couldn't find the hook after I distracted them all

Borrowed time that keeps getting buffed is more because it is connected to deep wounds, it wasen't intended to be buffed for sure but the devs keep having to mess with deep wounds wich causes borrowed time to be stronger
But that's a discussion for another thread there are enough threats about Legion getting the short end of the stick and how it made an already strong survivor perk even stronger
And yeah, blindness has it's moments, it's pretty neat in slug builds too
but how many games have you played in total and how many times has that come up that a survivor died because they couldn't find them with blindness
Everything can work if the circumstances allow it, for blindness those circumstances are few and rare in my experience

Hex: Third seal might be good to use if it afflicted oblivious instead of blindess

Yeah, i really hope the devs use oblivious more
I feel like it's a good way to make the game more excitting

Blindness and Hemmorhage both needs good buffs but combining blindness into Oblivious isn't a good idea as oblivious is already one of the stronger effects.
Blindness effects need to work on killer specific things like Pigs boxes, Plagues fountains etc.
Blindness should also hide debuffs survivors have from being shown to them and the cooldowns on their perks. This means they couldn't tell how much they have left on thei exhaustion timer or the cooldown left on their Quick and Quiet, DS etc.
Could possibly also hide the effects on their team members so they couldn't see who was injured etc which would mean they wouldn't know who was in a chase for example.

That would make blindness a whole lot more useful yeah
I kinda wanted to see more oblivious cause i think it's a cool status effect but i wouldn't say no to straight up buffing blindness

That's why I typically want Oblivious and Undetectable on a lot of killer perks because it's one of the few status effects that I think is actually pretty good. There are quite a few mediocre status's that aren't really doing much of anything.
