Long Survivor Qtimes ? The Reason, killers are tired of toxic survivors and 5 min games

Hello,

in my Opinion, the Mainreason why survivors atm have long Qtimes to find a lobby is: The killers are tired to play vs toxic survivors or playing 5min genrush games. Specially on Highranks....to much stress for killers and no fun. Survivor is much esier to pip.....and much killers stop to play atm.

Survivor is ez and i hope the devs realize that too. Something must happend in the future or the situation will be not better i think.

5 minute games aren't the norm though. A 4k shouldn't be easy, just as 4 man escapes shouldn't be easy

It's not the survivors fault really. The game has always been this way. With more and more survivors just realizing how little of an objective they have to do. It just shows the imbalance between the two objectives.

They shouldn't be easy but its a problem when its not fun to not get them.

Gens flying in minutes or one or two chases is boring and not fun at all its incredibly frustrating as well because you don't even feel outplayed the people beating you are across the map holding a button.

Its the same feeling as getting camped you can escape a camper but its not fun you didn't outplay them they sat there.

There needs to be more fun required interactions/objectives

Killers are scared of SWF for no logical reason, cause they just assume that every lobby consists of a SWF-Squad on expert level. Or theyre sulky about changes, cause their OP-thing isnt anymore and they need (more) skill.

Survivor side in redranks is far away from being ez or stressless.

I agree with that, I personally don't have games like that often though. Average survivors are common for me. I think a lot of the issues killers face is due to map design, survivors are given too much potential to prolong a chase

Are you on console? I’m on PS4 and same thing with the times. Not saying you’re wrong about the balance, but I think it has more to do with console killer optimization. The reason I say that is that I see the opposite for pc players on here. The frame drops on killer are not pleasant to deal with.

Personally I think the matchmaking is bugged causing long queue times. My killer and survivor queues are crazy since the latest update and after waiting in queue for minutes I tried closing/opening the game and suddenly I got an instant lobby for both survivor and killer. Either just coincidence or bugged matchmaking.

That's just using queues times to fit a narrative one wants to believe.

Take this website where rank 1 killers out number survivors.

    https://dbd.onteh.net.au

    598 rank 1 killers

    1132 rank 1 survivors

Now if you look at the queues there are more variables than just ranks that come into play.

The main one which I would say cause the issue is the introduction of the tomb challenges.

    For example.

If 100 killer players move over to play survivor you lose 100% of killer players so it makes queues longer for 100 matches so 400 survivors could be affected.

If 100 survivors move over then it has a different impact as you only lose 25% of players needed so out of those same 100 matches 25 killers could be affected.

I enjoy killer atm. Not my main nurse, but oni is pretty nice to play. If he wouldn't loose his ability everytime he picks someone up he would be even better.
