I'm tired of oni
He is not op but, all matches with survivor is oni, this killer is boring to play against because the unique counterplay to him is t wall or circule loops, and its impossible to avoid his m1 on blood fury when him is with the dash
he has a dash when it gonna demon strike, WHY??
this makes impossible to loop the killer in certain loops
and its too ez to pick up the blood orbs or activate the power, the blood orb need a coldown, if the oni dont pick up it the blood orb will disappear
The oni is not op, but im so tired to playing against ONLY oni
Where is the hillbilly, nurse, etc?

I've only found like 3 Onis after the patch lol.
And remember, the oni is the worst m1 killer of the game without Blood Fury. When he uses his power I consider him just a slightly better hillbilly for only 50 seconds.

I think it's fun, he is scary, that's why i play stealthy against him, you can't run around the map while he is on blood fury. If he starts slugging just hide and wait until his power ends and pick up the first person he slugged in case he managed to slug two or more.

The Oni is a good killer, but not a great one. He is quite easily loopable, and is less threatening than Billy as his insta-down requires setup before it can be used (and can only be used for a limited duration!).
Infinites are also one of his biggest weaknesses, and actually suffers from Mind Games around objects worse than Billy due to massive height. Make him pay for using his power and force him to waste it by using safe loops (you'll know which loops to use the moment you work out the Killer).
Nurses got nerfed hard as requested by numerous players, and so is the reason you barely see her played anymore (she's stupidly hard to use), and Billy can be looped for years (he's not as good as Spirit or Freddy).
Also, controlling the Oni is like trying to move a Challenger 2 Tank in a constant 360 degree circle. It's really hard to use him.

Seriously just hide, if you run around the map and try to loop he will destroy all the pallets on the map if he is on blood fury. You can try to loop him but many pallets will be gone. Again, it's better to be stealthy against him.

Don't you think survivors would hide if they could? The game is designed so the killer can easily track and control survivors. But I may be wrong, I haven't tried stealth in a bit.

Personally, I think facing Oni is too much like Hillbilly. His power is too accessible and not scary because of that. This is coming from red rank survivor where people don't bother to heal against Oni. Blood Orbs dissolving and slightly less charge up time for his dash would be good fixes imo.

I understand; Dead by Daylight always meant to have stealth mechanics, it's even tagged as a stealth game on steam. I don't know what you think you paid for but the game is not meant to be just about getting chased by a killer.

I've been playing quite a bit as ranke 8-ish on PS4... I have yet to even see Oni.

Due to the ONI "overperforming" and being "unfun" to play against, he will be "reworked" 👍.

The only time the Oni is unable to be looped in any form is when he has the Scalped Topknot addon which is super broken for some reason. Without that double charge speed, there are definitely short loops he can't really dash around so he's not completely uncounterable.
That addon is absurd though.
