New Idea
How about a hub? Like a you pick somebody to play as and you get to walk around the camp fire and talk to the other survivors? That way you can get lore and something else to do with the game. Personally I’d like to see interactions between survivors and maybe for them to talk about their past.
What about people you don’t have or licensed survivors? They don’t talk back to you.
I know it seems like this idea will never happen but it would be really cool to have it.
P.S don’t clown this post and derail it. This is a genuine idea that I think will boost the game.

The characters are not suposed to have voice lines, but that's the most fun lorewise idea

But why do they have in the bio voiced by and brag about the voices they use. Plus Ash talks. This wouldn’t be that hard to give them something to say.

From a lore perspective, who's to say they should speak? Maybe the Trials they've endured for years has taken a toll on them and they've basically become unable to communicate beyond simple gestures. I'm most likely looking way too far into it, but it's possible

I would like it as maybe a simple story mode. Talk to different survivors for objectives to do for bonus BP or Iridescent Shards. Maybe we can have something like this for the Archives in the future.

They don’t know how long they have been there. So they don’t know how many trails they have been through. So I think they would still talk to each other.

Wait, they don’t even have to talk. Text bubbles. That’s how they can keep the grunts in.

I could get behind this idea. They could even just make it AI controlled, so it could be an actual solo experience.
