Come on friends on the game Last Year The Nightmare , this is a time lapse, the Dead By Daylight developers only care about battle pass and skins, not far from the life of the game, however the game is no longer fun at the moment.

Yes cosmetics that have no actual effect on gameplay (besides maybe being more appealing to someone who would usually be a blendette) ruin this game, come on devs don't you know it's supposed to be pay to win? Smh

DBD is a fun game. It just needs to get the kinks out(such as leatherface liking the look of meg on the hook) and some bugs. I'm sure in some time the devs will have no bugs in the game anymore and everybody that complained is gonna start missing the old DBD which we know and love now.

I feel like I’m in a pretty good place to judge how the game feels since I took almost a full two years off of playing. I was very disillusioned with the state of the game around the release of The Pig and wound up uninstalling and not coming back until October of this year. And honestly? The game is in a lot better state than when I left. It’s not perfect, I still have my gripes with it, but it legitimately feels better to play than two years ago. Just last night I had a couple hours to burn and despite multiple games pulling my attention about equally I chose DbD for most of that time. If it were still like it was in early 2018, I would not have.

If you’re struggling to have fun, take some time away. Doesn’t need to be 2 years like what I did, but even a few days can help reset your mentality. And that’s more valuable than anything the devs can do.

The devs do care about this game. They absolutely do, and they really are trying to fix its issues. There's a lot of things wrong with this game but they will be fixed with time (lots of time :p) and the game is still fun despite it.

Devs are doing hotpatches to fix this game

Devs are not focused on the game, they are more focused on the health

    Still like the game.

I take breaks from the toxicity though every now and then.

Besides, devs are still trying to make the game more healthy, don't count them on their unsuccessfulness, count them on their attempts.

To be clear I am fairly certain that the devs are NOT the problem here, it is most likely the company that is controlling the path to monetization and the rushed release of said monetization. You know, those people that tell the devs what to do.

Also, I am fairly certain that if enough people left to actually make an impact on DbD those same big wigs would just shut the game off, as they did with the other game Behaviour had a little while ago.

We all are. Its damn addictive and extremely fun. It's the epic moments that happen in this game that keep it going. Last minute escapes, last minute captures, scary moments when a killer walks right past you without noticing, awesome moments where you somehow down three survivors at once. We are all chasing those highs!!

Let me share my last one:

I was against Billy as Jake with 3 Claudettes. One died early and I'm working on the last gen, injured but 0 hooks.

Finally I pop the last gen and go for the gate. In the meantime one Claudette is down, the other one is with me. I only get to 95% the gate before Billy comes and downs me (he didn't hook the 1st Claudette). He slugs me too and chases Claudette number 2, while I recover. After some looping, Claudette 2 puts me up, I go to open the door. While I open the door, Claudette 2 is down and hooked. Claudette 1 is still bleeding out at the other side of the map. I decide not to escape but go to save Claudette 2 because she was near and I was on "unhook in ECG" challenge. I unhook her (mission complete !), rush to the gate and Billy downs me right in front of it. He leaves me here and chases Claudette 2. And in the meantime I manage to escape in dying state, with Billy 1 meter behind !

    Most exciting endgame ever !

Unfortunately the other Claudettes didn't make it, Claudette 2 went to heal Claudette 1 but they were both killed by endgame time up, one of them really close to escape.

This game is still literally fun. I don’t get what you and some others are still about.

Imagine typing this out and thinking it's a good idea.

You are literally not required to purchase the battle pass or any of the skins. The game is still regularly updated and tweaked. New killers are added regularly.

Just because you're having a bad time, it does mean the game is not "fun"

Honestly if I was a dev I would state that last year has its own flaws and bugs considering that spider that just came out yeah and the fact that two hammer hits and you magically built a wall around the door it’s 5 seconds to rescue people that were downed I don’t like last year at all dead by daylight is way more fun IMO soooooooooo yeah
