Casual & Ranked Gamemodes (Concept)
This isn't a debate on whether DBD does or doesn't have the player base to support a Casual and Ranked gamemode. If anyone has any problems with this concept, I'd love to hear your feedback.
GENERAL
• Gameplay rules between Ranked and Casual are identical.
• Disconnecting in either Ranked or Casual cause Disconnect Penalties for both gamemodes.
CASUAL
• A players Rank is not affected or used for matchmaking in Casual.
• Players are granted slightly less XP when matchmaking Casual.
• The Disconnect Penalty durations are shorter for Casual than Ranked (Example: One disconnect may equal a 15 minute ban in Ranked but no ban in Casual, and two disconnects may equal a 30 minute ban in Ranked but only a 15 minute ban in Casual).
RANKED
• Ranked is the same DBD as we currently know except now a player's Player Level is also accounted for in the Ranked matchmaking.
• At the end of a Season, players are granted a special Rank Reward.
• Players cannot attempt to play Ranked if they haven't completed the Survivor and Killer Tutorials.
• The Coal Tower, Shelter Woods, Azarov's Resting Place, Wreckers' Yard, Rancid Abattoir, Rotten Fields, Badham Preschool IV, and Badham Preschool V maps are all excluded in Ranked.
