The Nurse for Dumbies?
No, no, no! I'm not insulting people who play the Nurse and I'm sorry if the title was misleading. However, I am a dummy and I wanna know what type of build I should give the Nurse what add-ons I can run and if anyone has some tips and tricks?

I'd stay away from things that add extra blinks if you are new to the Nurse. Because you first want to develop your muscle memory for her as she is all about the muscle memory, and MOST addons can mess around with your memory if you aren't a skilled enough Nurse to adapt to it, which most beginner Nurse players aren't. Of course Barbecue and Chilli is an amazing perk on the Nurse, Nurse's Calling is also a really good one. Make your Choice is another good perk as the Nurse is extremely fast to the point where she can capitalise on the exposed survivor. At the end of the day though BBQ&C and Nurse's Calling is a must run in my opinion. The other two perks is just your choice at the end of the day, I think of them as quality of life changes. I run Nurse's Calling/BBQ&C/Monitor and Abuse (because pulling people off generators is really fun) and the extra FoV is nice too/Make your Choice (sometimes I switch this perk out for Ruin but I rarely do that as I don't like running hex perks). I recommend addons that increase your max blink distance if you are new.
Sorry for the wall of text.

I never finished my build on her because I switched mains a long time ago, but I would run my Pig build:
Hex: Ruin
A Nurse's Calling
Make Your Choice
No One Escapes DeathAside from those, there's options:
-Monitor & Abuse (Pair's well with Nurse's Calling/getting the jump)
-Sloppy Butcher (Long heals; good for slugging)
-Hex: Thrill of the Hunt (Totem defense)
-Hex: Third Seal (arguably most effective killer to apply it)
-Knockout (I've never gotten this to work well, but it can)
-Whispers (Semi-useful tracking perk)You could also run Distressing/Coulrophobia together, instead of A Nurse's Calling if you don't want to use it, but also want to farm Deviousness. Also, here's a good Nurse guide by Pyrus. This was before her 'rework', but mechanically she's the same and really didn't get changed much:

I'm a trash nurse. Scared to even do her dailies anymore. But i had my best luck with Monitor and Abuse, Nurses Calling, Stridor and Whispers. I would probably trade Whispers for the new Predator. It would probably be amazing on her now.

Whispers- must on nurse, knowing the general location of survivors is super strong on her.
Shadowborn-really good on her since it gives her bigger FOV and you dont really need to use agressive perks on her.
Ruin- of course lock in for every killer.
For the last you can go with BBQ or MYC.
I dont like to run Nurses calling on nurse since everyone with half of brain wont bandage in your TR.0 -
Yeah. You would think Nurses Calling would be useless but its amazingly effective for whatever reason. And Monitor and Abuse is great on her too. Her chases are short enough that it doesn't feel less than Shadowborn.

@deadwolfwalking I could see nurses working on her well but i think she could benefit more from other perks.
For M&A i don"t really like it personally, since it ######### your FOV in chase that"s why i use shadow born for the FOV in chase, sometimes it can give you a free hit on someone, after being fatiqued you can sometimes see where the survivor is going.2 -
Valid point.

I prefer Monitor and Abuse because when you are just looking around sometimes you might see a survivor so I like to get in close and pretend I don't see them for the free hit, then get the free blink down on them. And Monitor and Abuse messes around with their perception of the terror radius, so if they run to the end of your radius and heal you will be able to see them with Nurse's Calling. Allowing you to get a free down, the amount of Rank 1's I see falling for this is unreal.

If you gonna use add-ons that increase her blink amount do this at the start of every match
teleport to every teleporter until you find a survivor, by teleporting this way you can create a little bit of brain memory of the distance you can teleport and time it takes.
don't be stupid like me that when I started playing nurse I wouldn't use her teleport since survivors would know I am playing nurse

Once you get good at Nurse you really don't need NOED, so I'd stay away from using it, you'll get hard bodied for your first games but you will become better because of it.

For learning her blink mechanic you should better avoid addons. Once you've done learning basics, you can try different sets. I'd suggest a speed+distance combo, you might also like 3 blinks (but no more) and decreasing fatigue. Also avoid using very rare addons since they take too much.
For perks, I'd recommend this build:Nurse's Calling
Deerstalker
BBQ&C
BloodhoundAs you can see, all perks are for detecting survivours. BBQ and Nurse's are for finding survivour to start a chase, Bloodhound helps you in chases since you can easili loose survivours after a fatigue, and Deerstalker is obviously for slugging which proved to work extremly good on her. Also, Bloodhound and Deerstalker let you be distracted from one survivour for a moment (to scare someone or to break a gen) and not to loose them afterwards.

Practice her 10 hours straight and you can go ahead abusing the ######### out of her; since the majority of players thinks shes balanced and hard to master cause their favourite streamer told them so, what kinda justifies her being overpowered (nice design choice) you can probably abuse her til the game gets boring cause i dont think theyre gonna nerf her anytime.
