So devs, any fair balance for killers coming?
Man, these threads are insane today. A lot of pissed off people with all the killer nerfs lately. Are we getting noticed now? Is the killer voice finally drowning out all the salty survivor cries? Pretty soon there's gonna be hardly any killers left. Just one big, huge SWF community waiting 30-45mins to get a match. What fun that will become. I don't have the answers, but I would suggest making killers scary and fearful again. Give them back the power role they were intended to have. Right now, survs are a bunch of He-mans running around screaming " I HAVE THE POWER! "

For every step forward, it seems they take a step or 2 back on killer. I don't care if people agree with me or not, but the fact is, more killers are hanging it up and going to survivor, because it's just plain easier. That's a fact no one can deny. If that keeps happening, what do you think is going to happen to que times for matches? If You think it's bad now... Just wait.

Sure it's easy to rank up as survivor but getting bp or even escaping can be difficult when playing "normally"

Of course not. Gotta make sure those Survivors that are trying to escape from a crazed, maniacal Killer are having "fun". Don't want them to stop playing the game cause they don't know how to be strategic or anything. They gotta have FUN!

i personally do not have any problems playing killer.
sure, gentimes are absurd sometimes, but overall, in my opinion, killers are fine.
can we please stop asking like the devs had done nothing for killers?
we received buffs over buffs recently, obviously when the game gets into a more healthy state overall there would be nerfs to certain killers comming up at some point.
Nurse was just a question of time, Legion HAD to be changed (the initial "rework", not the recent changes. i not necessarily agree with those, yet i understand why they did them), Oni was literally announced to be nerfed uppon release. they could also just have delayed the release until they fixed the issue, ya know?
all in all there are good reasons for those changes.
its not like the devs would walk around their office and only think about which killer they could ruin next.
oh and PS:
if a survivor runs around my trials, screaming "I HAVE THE POWER!", they better have a really good SWF backing them up. otherwise, i doubt they'll "have the power" for long.

I appreciate your candor in the face of rather obnoxious user posts, but you gotta admit we are not exactly seeing much positive for killers. Anytime a killer pops up in hotfixes or updates, it's almost always a nerf or something being taken away, removed, or toned down.
I get why it's being done, but they should really consider putting out improvements and buffs to the ones that need it too. There are ones that have needed buffs for far far longer than ones have needed nerfs, yet the nerfs hit within a couple months and the buffs take like a year.

This forum seriously needs a rule against posts that are just "Entitled Survivor/Killer mains" and posts that are "Obviously a filthy killer/survivor main"
This stuff is non constructive, and is literally made for no other reason than to incite an argument or passive aggressively go at someone.

where to start @ThisGuuy83 killers already have too high kill ratio (devs wants kill ratio be around 50%) and instead of nerfing killers overall they are nerfing those that are overperforming(nurse, spirit, freddy) btw thing with oni it was BUGFIX it wasnt intended, about legion i still like them better now than before (i like to be much faster)
and your "fair ballance" is pretty entitled, because instead of asking for buffs you asked for "fair ballance" which freddy just got and i can guarantee you if killers wouldnt abuse slowdown stacking those add ons wouldnt ever be nerfed

I hope keys are also on your list, being able to instantly and safely escape with usually 1 or 2 other survivors is currently the most unbalanced thing imo.

devs said those stats are not reliable and it's pretty easy to know why when survivors DC constantly and the fact that playing killer is easy until you get to the higher ranks where survivors actually know what they are doing. Also the nurse nerf was way too much, she is now undesirable to newcomers who might have given nurse a try and even players who got used to her because she is just to punishing to play for even missing a single blink. Spirits nerf didn't really change how good spirit players play her since they didn't need collision to get hits at all and the addon changes don't affect how good her base kit is. As for Freddy those addons changes won't change how strong he is and survivors will still complain about him.

I don't know if I'm encountering smurfs, or just people that have a ton of hours and haven't played recently, but even in the 8-12 ranks, you get survivors that know what they're doing. Basically survivors are getting better and killers keep getting nerfed.
I tried Nurse for the first time, she's utterly impossible for a new player. Too slow, blinks take too long to charge, blinks don't go far enough, and you can't see where the survivor goes in fatigue. Basically, find survivor, sprint burst, blink, blink, swing and miss....fatigue.....survivor puts 20m on you, blink, blink, swing and miss.....fatigue....survivor puts another 20m. Didn't get a single down without the help of NOED.

Problem is it's looking like Killers are getting more nerfs than buffs and at a much faster rate than they get buffed at. I'm all for game balance but killers like Doctor, Clown, Cannibal, Legion etc have needed buffs for a long time

I might just have too many hours, I have played on a different account every now and then thats sitting between ranks 10-15 as killer and im not having any problems getting 4k's. When you're a good killer all the survivors need to be good or they will have a hard time trying to survive.
Edit: I rarely don't play in red ranks on my main account so I consider red and purple ranks to be where skilled survivors are and its usually true when i come across a swf group who has a R12 that i didn't have a hard time catching.

I meannnn, doctor is in an awkward spot. He stomps on low ranks, but is laughed at in red ranks. I know certain builds can make him decently powerful, but his base power is really bad. He is overdue for a rework.
LF on the other hand, how do you re-work that? I get addons need reworking (tuning guide, I hate you), but I feel as if his power would be one of the most difficult to rework.

Playing Legion at red ranks is not fun in the slightest. It's a 50/50 as to whether or not I get a stomp because the survivors are potatoes for some reason or the survivors know how to hold down M1 and run in a circle and it's almost impossible to win.

Well that's legion for you he has nothing to actually down survivors with just injure and thats why he is weak. at least plagues power helps find people easily and when used with her classic slowdown build you can get survivors to cleanse themselves for that sweat damaging puke.

I'm a rank 8 survivor and a rank 11 killer with 80 hours in the game. I just went up against two rank 6's and a rank 8 as Hag. They had one gen done and I got a 3k, the last dude got hatch. On the flip side, I've gotten a team of rank 18's and and a different team of 15's that just roflstomped me.with the same killer.

Except we actually don't know if they will even follow through it like their promise that after the Nurse "rework" they would do Doc, but instead went to nerf Spirit after survivors complained.

They said this a while ago when freddy was being announced on his rework release. They said that nurse was next, then the doctor. And if I remember correctly they said they were going to work on the chainsaw brothers. Because currently they both don’t have any Ultra rares and have 1 less addon than all the other killers. So hopefully they give bubba some new addons that actually are useful and make a difference. I’m excited to see what they come up with for Ultra rares. Maybe no collisions with chainsaw to objects at all with the downside of a small charge speed penalty.
